“2023: Shoes wear out, so back again. Same staff, same great service! Once again, no hard sell, lots of shoes came out, running on the treadmill, comparing two shoes at the same time. You really feel like they want the best for your feet. They also stock a large collection of running apparell, so a one stop shop. Free parking is available from the superstore up the road, so you can get your shop get your shoes, job done! Great experience shopping for running shoes, assisted by staff that actually enjoy running. Whilst my wife was being helped, I was able to watch three other ladies being attended to, each was treated as an individual, with quite different requirements and all left with running shoes they had tried, compared and had had informed detail on each one. The prices of the shoes were in the end all around the same mark, not cheap but not stupid prices and what actually mattered was they were suitable for her running style, the running surface, her personal gait and lastly a style she liked. Worth the money rather than wasted money.”

“After being diagnosed with Bells Palsy, a condition where half of the face loses complete functionality I contacted Dr Bian and was told I would need around 10 sessions of accupuncture to cure the condition. GP told me 2-6 months recovery, but after 5 sessions in 2 weeks I was well on the mend. I am continuing with my treatment and feel better after every session. “Amazing venue! The only place I found that do literally everything for you all within a very reasonable price! Booked in April for a surprise baby shower yesterday and it was perfect! The room was all decorated perfectly with the cutest little touches, Nat did the buffet for us which was lovely and fresh with a good variety of food! Bar was stocked with lots of different drinks & the bouncy castle was the best thing to keep the kids entertained and safe! “Just been. Nom nom nom very tasty! We had a single meat handi which was a tender lamb curry, a mixed salad, a cheese and chilli naan, and the tandoori mixed grill. All very good, there wasn't anything left on our plates. We're very full now. The Indian soundtrack was a bit erratic, it kept skipping and stopping, but the ambience was nice and plush, the food was tasty, and reasonably priced, and the bill came out really reasonable for 2 people who have eaten as much as they physically can- £38. It was so reasonable because we didn't buy drinks- they don't have an alcohol licence yet, so they let you BYOB! So we brought a few lagers, and they provided glasses. A very good evening. They do takeaway also, and cater events, and have a banqueting hall upstairs. It's a very big building the former Greaves Arms.”

I have a Master's in Writing for Stage and Screen, and if anyone one to get involved they are doing 25 days of Oldham project in which you can make a short film, play, or poem and it will be shown a Shaw theatre before Christmas. So if you want to get involved in the industry here is a good start.”
