“As a parent of a child who attended this nursery for two years. I cannot praise and thank the staff enough. My childs progress has been phenomenal. He even knows some sign language and is barely 3 years old. We only had to move him due to work commitments, however the staff did try to make some accommodations for us to allow him to remain, unfortunately this wasn't possible for us. Every review should be 5*, however it wouldn't do the work you do justice. Keep it up Broad Oaks.”

“Great setting with truly caring, kind and professional staff. My 3 year old has been attending since 2022 and has learned many skills and developed into a cheeky, happy preschooler during this time. I like that parents are updated via an app and private Facebook group and that children make greeting cards for most holidays and celebrations. Children are also taken for little adventures around the neighborhood. I really appreciate and respect the fact that children and their families are encouraged to celebrate and represent their culture and that there is a non-judgemental and friendly attitude towards all parents. Having had bad experiences in my area with other settings, I feel especially grateful for finding Ducklings. They have handled delicate situations with grace, patience and understanding. I am proud to call Ducklings staff my child's second family.”

“Kids enjoy going to this school. Good communication a lot of the time with Parents through both website , mobile texting and specific handouts when necessary. Teachers do a fantastic job, plenty of engagement with the class. Discipline is kept in check well, breakfast / after lunch a real bonus for working parents. Only minor point, parking can be a pain. New street lighting and general tidy up are a move in the right direction.”

There was always great communication and lots of well planned out activities for the boys. I’d highly recommend the playgroup. You need to go and visit and see them for yourself.”

Her speech and communication improved massively, she speaks now in full sentences, can read and count to 20; she grew to be a bright confident little girl. “A really outstanding nursery. I am so delighted I chose Sylvan House. My daughter has been coming 3 days a week since she was 9 months and the development I've seen in her is fantastic. The girls in the baby room (Nicole, Chloe, Laura and Sarah) treat my daughter like their own, they are kind, affectionate, attentive and excellent at what they do. The food variety is great and she is really well fed and cared for with a detailed report at the end of the day showing food intake, sleep times, nappy changes, mood description etc. The app that the nursery use (Tapestry) is a A* and I look forward to numerous updates, photos, videos and notes about what she's up to. Communication is excellent throughout the day and at handover. Well done Sylvan you've made returning to work so much easier!”
