“I went there last night and I had a great time. Miranda Parker, who I worked with for Factory International last year and worked with her on Anton Benson's production of Aladdin at Queen Elizabeth hall last year. I have a Master's in Writing for Stage and Screen, and if anyone one to get involved they are doing 25 days of Oldham project in which you can make a short film, play, or poem and it will be shown a Shaw theatre before Christmas. So if you want to get involved in the industry here is a good start.”

“On a sunny day.. This place is fantastic. Lovely flat grass areas for sports. Running track that's free to use. Gorgeous river running alongside Trim track being built around the side (eventually) When it's wet though. It floods. It's muddy. It's puddly.”

“Oldham Children's Hospital. Amazing!!!! I am so shocked reading the bad reviews. Children are here to be brought back to health..so what if you have to wait 4 hours in a&e or have to wait 20 minutes to be buzzed into the unit. Your priority should be your child. How can anyone complain that the adults don't get fed? This is not a hotel!! How can anyone complain that the staff are lazy when they work 14 hour shifts?(Maybe that person should get a job!!!). Oldham NHS staff we will be forever grateful for the care of our son and all the other children in Oldham that you have cared for. Luckily you are all well educated enough to not take the bad reviews personally. Keep being amazing xx”

“Just picked our black labrador Luna up from Mike and the girls and it's honestly the first time she hasn't wanted to come home. She has absolutely loved every second of it there, Mike sent me numerous photos throughout our week long holiday, which really put our mind at ease. I can honestly say I won't leave her with anyone else from now on, she's made lots of new friends and by the looks of it has had the time of her life! The acting capability was outstanding. The venue, lovely, small and perfectly adequate. Never been to a show at the Playhouse before, but would 100% return.
