“This chippy has been here since I was a Kid back in the 80's, and the family who have owned the chippy since I can remember are still producing the same awesome English and Chinese food around. This is my go to chippy because it's always a trip down memory lane, the recipies have never changed and the food still tastes the same as back in the day. “This venue is absolutely incredible. I’ve now been to two weddings here and thoroughly enjoyed both. It’s a proper hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Saddleworth, you honestly wouldn’t expect it to be quite so impressive from the outside. Inside, the décor is tasteful, elegant, and beautifully thought out. There’s a stunning balcony that overlooks the main dining area, and the outdoor space is massive, perfect for weddings and, I imagine, other events too. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. I ordered some drinks I wasn’t supposed to, but he handled it really politely and respectfully. It's easy as a business owner to become jaded and not speak to people as individuals or talk down to them, but he's obviously a good dude and gives people the benefit of the doubt.”

“They have a £15 deal full chicken 5 wings chips and 2 drinks.. really worth it tbh. I have had this a while ago and ate today. It was good value for money and the grilled chicken was fresh. I don't see what the moan is about with paying cash.. small business trying to survive without paying silly amounts in transaction fee or just eat/uber taking their 33% cuts.
