“As a family tradition we go out for breakfast on the morning of a holiday. We tried this cafe as the reviews were very positive and my wife had heard about it through a work colleague. The staff were very welcoming. There were a few regulars in who made the place seem very community focussed, more friends than customers. The food was really good freshly prepped after we ordered. When I mentioned where we going on holiday the lady who served us explained she was from that same area originally and advised us of things to look out for. Can't fault it. We will visit again definitely.”

“We had our son's 11th birthday party here recently, and it was a great experience - it's such good value, especially the bowling time, the arcade games and the food is lovely. Aleina in particular was a wonderful host who took really good care of us all. This is the third year in a row we've had birthday parties at the Light, and it never disappoints!”

“Great food whether you want home baking, an Italian special or just a bacon sandwich. Thoroughly recommend the cappuccino with a double shot of espresso (think big flat white). Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly too. Can't recommend too highly.”

“The food was great, Borek for starters very nice and the POLLO REINA for main. The chicken was so tender with a smokey grilled taste under the creamy garlic white wine sauce. Even the peppers within the sauce were so tasty. My partner and I were so extremely blessed that they let us have the top floor to ourselves, which really made our night. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was lovely and clean. It was my 8-year-old's birthday and the staff made him feel so special. “My friend and I took our 6 year old daughters to the Funky Monkey Christmas party yesterday and what an absolute blast we had! There were fun games and prizes for the kids, plenty of choice from the menu for the kids to choose from and they even got to meet Santa and get a special gift! Our girls absolutely loved their time, and us mums and dads had so much fun too. We even won a prize as adults and can’t wait to have our beautiful Christmas cupcakes!! The staff are wonderful here, and you’re literally made to feel part of the Funky Monkey family from the moment you step in the door! Our food was delicious - we would particularly rate the latte and the banana and toffee muffin and I am looking forward to coming back to try even more from the menu. Thank you so so much to the team for hosting such a fun event last night, you could tell a lot of heart and hard work went into this and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We really hope you’ll host this again next year and in the meantime we will definitely be back for more tea, coffee and treats! Merry Christmas to you all!”

“Sandwich Heaven provided the catering for our granddaughters First Holy Communion Party at our house last Saturday. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Everyone tucked in. Sarah was so helpful with making menu suggestions for the adults and kids for a party of 30 people and then setting up the buffet on the morning of the party. We were so pleased with the quality of the food and service provided and we will definitely be using Sandwich Heaven again for party catering again . Thank you guys!”

“Double D's provided hot food for my 50th party. The customer service was amazing from my first enquiry. Everything needed was provided by them, plates, napkins etc. The food was outstanding. All my guests went up for seconds. I would highly recommend and would not think twice about using again.”
