“Had a few roasts in the old venue which were stunning Been few times at the old cock and Sundays roasts fab too - I do miss the lamb shanks on the menu but enjoy the other meats we had Have to say the cheesecakes are the best I’ve eaten absolutely gorgeous Would also like to comment the young girl running the floor ( maybe the chefs daughter ) so lovely with a gentle caring and kind approach that always tries to make your experience as positive as possible Only negative be the venue seems so cold :)”

“I have been going here for a very longtime, chicken in black bean sauce, Vermachelli Singapore style, fillet steak Cantonese style, king prawn chow mein these are just a few dishes that I have always ordered. Cooking is a fine art I have never had a complaint about any food I have had from this takeaway, I have been to restaurants in Manchester China that have not been as good as this takeaway. The couple running this takeaway are very good people. Food always prepared perfectly, order on the phone always very polite and Pleasant. I will never go another Chinese takeaway why would I when this is to the highest standard.”

“Took my Rotweiler a few times, it's nice to go in a pub with a big dog and people don't look down on him. The staff give him treats and come and stroke him, always a filled water bowl. Great food & they do dog Sunday dinners which go down a treat for £2.50 & a lovely normal roast dinner too. The food menu has a lot of variety. Brilliant view of the canal from the carpark. We love it here”

“Ordered a couple of weeks ago and I've placed 3 more orders ever since. Gotta say this is the tastiest special fried rice I've ever had in Manchester, and I've had it all over the world. Very nice wok hey. I do have two suggestions: (1) Perhaps consider having a special dry chow mein on the menu. I only saw a wet chow mein. (2) This place has a 1 out of 6 hygiene rating. Personally I'm not overly concerned because the food is piping hot, and I have a strong third-world stomach. But I find it hard to recommend to others with such a low hygiene rating.”
