There were good local followers of real ale beers. The staff/owners were really good and knew their real ales. There was also a smashing quiet real ale outdoors drinking area at the rear of the pub. “This place is lovely , my friend and I meet up about once a month and this is becoming our go to for a morning coffee and small bite to eat. It's clean and tidy and plenty of space to get between tables. The staff are all very pleasant and don't leave you hanging about for drinks and soon after comes the food. The poached eggs on toast was done to perfection and the iced coffee was lovely , my friend enjoyed her cheese crumpets too. Lovely place to go for a chat and catch up .”

“I had such a lovely experience. I was served by these two sweet sisters who filled my strange request of a mystery cake and drink and boy did they not underserve. The cafe was so quaint and lovely with the essence of small village cafe and was decorated with needle felted spiders for halloween.
