“Went on a lovely walk with a friend, stop at this lovely pub and was greeted with a lovely lady called Kirsty. I'm not from the area but will be coming back especially to see Kirsty. “New Landlord Ryan has only been there 24 hours but what a difference already - obviously still got a few things to do but Rome wasn’t built in a day. Definitely a lot cleaner and beer tastes miles better! Nice to actually have hand soap in the toilets as well”

“We absolutely love it here! are regulars at Mottram wood because as a family of 6 we find that it has everything we need for all of us. Great food, friendly staff, a good play area for the kids and an outside area. And then the food is decent pub grub at a very reasonable price. We find it to be the best play area / restaurant around Manchester. We came here for Christmas dinner which was great and so reasonably priced and today my son just had his 6th birthday party at the wacky warehouse. Alex and Jess in the play area are outstanding and can’t do enough for you and the kids adore them too.”
