“The Flower Lounge did the amazing arrangements for our wedding in August 2023 and we could not recommend them more highly! We didn’t have much decor in mind for our wedding so the flowers were really important to us. From the first consultation we both felt so at ease by how friendly and professional Sian is! She completely understood the assignment and went above and beyond to source exactly the style of flowers and colour palette we had envisioned from a number of local growers. The team also decorated the pergola for our top table using some spare foliage they had in stock at no extra cost to us, this was such a generous and creative touch, and really added to the garden vibes! Our guests were blown away and we had so many comments on how beautiful and unique the designs were. Set up on the day was completely stress-free and the team moved floral designs from our ceremony venue to the reception seamlessly so we could appreciate the flowers all day and night. The final surprise was finding a flower press, chocolates and “flower lounge” scented candle (lush!) among our wedding gifts the next morning, another gift from the team - a really lovely touch! I still have vases of dried flowers from the wedding looking beautiful in the house 4 months later! “Bethany and her team created the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and centrepieces I’ve ever seen. I’m not being over dramatic! I asked Bethany for bright colours - pinks, lilac, yellow and orange. I was happy for Bethany for pick the flowers so when she arrived with them it was a wonderful surprise. I actually didn’t put my bouquet down all day other than eating our meal. I didn’t want to be without it because I just loved the colours so much. Bethany also made our church look stunning then transferred them from church over to Manchester Hall to be our table centrepieces. It all happened seamlessly because I have no idea when she did it! But by the time we were having our meal the church flowers were ready to go. So many people complimented our flowers and I’m just so pleased that Bethany and her team made them for us. “I pass the shop on my way to and from work and it's always a highlight as the pavement and window displays are so stunning. I recently, finally made a detour to pop in and see what delights were inside. I spent some time happily browsing all the amazing gift items and floral displays and was drawn to the terrariums that have been created by the owner. I eventually bought a succulent in a small terrarium. As I'm not experienced with terrariums I wanted to start small. I was given full care guidelines on purchasing which I've been following. I'm delighted with my choice and the plant is still looking as healthy as when I bought it. I also bought a different Echeveria in a small pot as it's a type I hadn't seen before. This was also a very happy and healthy little plant and has even just started to flower. I'm so excited as I've never had an Echeveria flower before. The owner was so friendly and helpful and is clearly very creative and talented. I highly recommend the shop and wish I hadn't taken so long to stop and venture inside!”
