“Super Smash makes amazing burgers! We tried the Pachos Smash Up, Juicy Lois, and the Original Crispy Chicken Burger. The Pachos Smash Up was our favourite, crispy chicken and juicy beef in one burger! Everything here is fresh because they grind their own meat and mix it themselves. “First trip to Oldham town centre for almost 50 years! Oldham road once had pubs on almost every corner as you headed there from Manchester City Centre, many from the long gone Oldham brewery. Madge fancied a trip on the Metro and we spotted this pub in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Well worth the trip for just this corner pub. A bank of ten real ales. Great vibe plus a front pavement seating area. Madge found a new Oldham brewery..We are Wolf. Bar snacks incl sausage rolls. Great visit.”

Good choices of alcohol/ale's, Drink prices are really good value and not expensive at all! Friendly bar staff and lovely customers who seem to very chatty and welcoming. You can easily strike up good conversation in this bar and make new friends. “We turned up as a party of 5, late notice on a Sunday evening after a long drive from the West Country. Despite the kitchen about to close, the lady who served us was extremely accommodating and we were soon served with absolutely lovely Sunday roast dinners; delicious food and plenty of it, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and a nice clean and friendly pub.”

“Only came in for a quick drink. Decent pub, well off the beaten path. Car park for 15/20 cars over the road. Loads of beers on tap. Food did look incredible. But didn’t have personally. Would recommend booking if going for food - not too many tables inside as it’s quite a narrow pub, none the less, still good. And dog friendly. Decent playlist on, Atleast the short time we was there. With sky sports on tv.”

“Visited today, with my friend and my toddler. They didn’t have many options for kids but that’s fine as my son was more interested in a sausage roll from the bakery. The food me and my friend had though was absolutely delicious, really well made. The coffee was really good quality too, a really well made cup of coffee not burnt or too hot.”

“My wife and I came for lunch, having previously visited for drinks a few weeks ago. We are trying all the local eateries as we will shortly be moving here. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and it all seemed very well organised. The food was excellent and we both really enjoyed the Sunday Dinner menu which was available on bank holiday Monday. Decor is really nice and the pub has a welcoming feel. Nice to see dogs are welcomed in the bar and garden areas. Will most definately be returning”

The food was great, the service was lovely, and in typical fashion we were so full we needed to take the rest home!
