“I realised about 2 days before going away for a short break that the MOT had run out! A quick call, and Alan and his team fitted me in the next day. They then called to say that it had failed and let me know what needed to be done. I asked if it could be done by 11 the following day (today)so we could still get away and I have just had a call to say it will be ready by 10.30! Amazing communication and very trustworthy. I have used them before and will continue to do so. Thank you for being so understanding and letting us have the car back in time for a much needed break away!”

We received a fabulous greeting as though they'd known us for years and the service from that moment on was absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious and we were offered more sandwiches and top ups on the drinks throughout our visit. The whole area was decorated beautifully and the atmosphere was so friendly and fun. “Beautiful walk - plenty to see and once you start walking, you don’t want to stop. Carry on walking along the canal and on to the lime quarry and railway bridge. An easy walk without too much effort!”

“Big park with plenty going on when we went. Plenty of spaces for car parking. Toilets on site. A big bar/restaurant where you can order on the app (green king). There is a splash pad which the youngsters will enjoy on a warm day. There was a big inflatable obstacle course, but I don't know if that's a permanent feature. There's play parks and a big boating lake where you can hire pedalos. And a big wheel.”

“Great stay at Cotel’s. The location was central but quiet in the evenings - heard little noise from outside and no noise from other apartments / lifts etc like you get in hotels. The service was really efficient regarding key collection and parking, instructions were simple to follow which after a 5-hour drive was very welcome. The apartment was spacious and very clean and the little touches such as the welcome pack and guide were very much appreciated. Would have no hesitations staying again if in the area. Many thanks!”

“A labyrinth rather than a maze. One needs to follow the straight path to do the whole thing and not take the shortcuts. It's a good bit of fun but takes quite a while to walk it. I ran the second half to speed things up. Remarkably satisfying to get to the oak tree at the centre, having done the whole thing. Lovely and peaceful surroundings and a nice view.”

“Food was absolutely beautiful! Came in with my partner for an early Saturday dinner and everything was 10/10! The owner described all the dishes and we went for spicy hummus with lamb and chicken shawarma. I always do a little dance if the food is great and believe me not just my stomach was playing a melody but my feet were moving to the beat too. Definitely coming back again and again! Thank you!”

“Stayed here as close to wedding venue at Furtho Farm . Smallish rooms with single beds , but fine for the 2 nights we were all in one area and had 3 rooms . Breakfast very nice in a lovely traditional dining room . Not easy to find post code and our taxis were very lost . Be well prepared if going to the wedding / event farm . Thank you to the lovely lady owner who was very helpful .”
