“We had Hayley look after our pups at our wedding earlier this year. We’ve got two big dogs who get quite excitable around people. Hayley took them out in the morning for a walk to calm them down, washed and brushed them for the ceremony and looked after them throughout the day. She also dropped them off at the kennels for us so we didn’t have to step away from the party. Despite their strength Hayley managed to keep control of them throughout. Photos below of how much extra hair came out of our GSDx after Hayley had a go!”

“Very nice staff and do a good cut, nails and shampoo for dogs, prices are reasonable and you can sometimes get a appointment at short notice. I have seen them doing a cut and dogs are at ease and not stressed. Been using them for 2 years for my westie and can recommend them”

“We have been taking our dog Amber, who is 11, to Linby Dog grooming for a while now. She has her teeth cleaned every 6 weeks or so. We took her to the vets last week for her 6 monthly check up The vet checked her teeth and she was very pleased at how clean they were for her age. The vet even said that she wished her dogs teeth were as good. So thank you so much for your care of Amber.”

“Hair of the Dog has the most wonderful staff who give beautiful grooms to my very anxious, difficult, huge poodle. Helene is so friendly and the service is flexible, plus the parlour is gorgeous, always very clean, with water and treats available for my pup. He actually gets excited to visit Hair of the Dog, whereas he's only been scared of other groomers in the past. If you want your doggie to come home happy and smelling fantastic for an incredibly reasonable price, there's nowhere better. Thank you Helene!”

“Excellent! I had received recommendations to come here and I'm so pleased I did. They are so very friendly, have great human and dog menu's. I had a toasties for lunch and it came with humour (or colslaw), crisps and a side salad. I was totally stuffed after all that and the food quality was excellent. The coffee is also delicious and strong but smooth. I really highly recommend coming to the Dog and Bear. Bring your doggies too.”

Our pup absolutely adores her - she is gentle and patient and allows him to be comfortable, so much so, the last two visits he fell asleep!
