“Absolutely loved my visit! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy my time. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do was served by Holly today. My brunch was perfectly made —tasty, good value for money and beautifully presented. You can tell everything is made with care. It’s the kind of place you can come to for a quiet coffee, brunch with friends, or even to get some work done. Would definitely recommend to anyone”
“Lovely food and great coffee. Always reasonably priced with great staff”
“Wonderful find. Jo and her team made this small but perfectly lovely cafe a really special visit. Everything was delicious, the toasties were somehow so much better than the usual cafe fare, I think it was the high quality bread and ingredients. The puddings and custard were also excellent, we had the Bakewell pudding and the rhubarb and apple tart, both with (just howI like it, not too runny) custard. Excellent. Finally thanks Jo, you couldn't have made us feel more welcome! Best cafe I've been to for a long time, you can see why it won best Derbyshire cafe this year!”
“Lovely little coffee shop with delicious home baked buns and cakes. Staff always really friendly. Little gem in Chapeltown.”
“I tried the hot chocolate couple of times and a chocolate brownie cake and carrot cake. The cake were delicious and so hot chocolate with it. They also do have range of vegan cakes and cookies. Nice atmosphere in the corner with couch to chat with your friends.”
“Always love coming here! All of the staff are really friendly, and are really understanding about my food allergies. The food options on the standard menu are vast, and there is also always a great selection of specials on the boards. The cakes are BEAUTIFUL and such unusual flavours! We come here every few months for a brunch and love it every time, and would always recommend!”
“Great shop for most electronics needs. Usually have what I want, they have a good stock of "new old stock" components. Paul is very knowledgeable, and always willing to offer advice.”
“Mum was 82 today and all staff made it so special for her Super staff super food super atmosphere”
“Love this little cafe, staff are so polite and helpful! Can't do enough for you. The place is well kept and always spotless. Cakes are a treat! Will always pop in for a cuppa when in Tickhill, lovely place to take a minute for yourself. It is more expensive than some other places but the atmosphere and care of the staff make it worth it.”
“Absolutely beautiful cafe. It’s extremely reasonably priced and you always get a gorgeous home cooked meal, don't know how any one could grumble for under £10. We now come every single week. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The only place we would go for food in Tickhill.”
“Gotta say I love this shop. Its so quick and convenient... The staff are just fantastic too, always taking that extra 2 minutes to help you out if you need it.”
“My first time having a Boba Tea. The girl who served me was so helpful. She gave me a suggestion as to the mix of flavours, which were what I kind of had in my mind. Nothing was too much for her. So patient and kind. I will definitely visit again.”
“Friendly welcome and great coffee. We get our caffeine fix most mornings at Insomnia. So, don't change the coffee! Quiet and pleasant place to kick off our day. Free coffee when our star card is full.”
“Had the most delicious bacon sandwich and a mug of tea here in the park. I will be back!”
“Amazing ham and cheese croissant. Buttery, flakey, soft, savoury, all in one bite. 10/10”
“I had a nice experience at this café, and the cappuccino was a highlight! The service was very friendly, making my visit even more enjoyable. The cappuccino was expertly crafted, with a rich, velvety espresso base topped with a perfect layer of frothy, creamy milk. It had a balanced and bold flavor profile, leaving me savoring every sip. I can't wait to return for another cup!”
“Honestly exceeded all expectations. Wonderful vibes. All the humans are friendly and welcoming. Good coffee. Pizza and baguettes were freshly prepared and delicious. Brilliant details - cloud lightshades against a bright blue ceiling, emerald tabletops, creative cakes, fab eclectic playlist, and rainbows everywhere. Serves Camden brewery beers, and has some cracking cocktail ingredients. Totally loved it.”
“Wonderful little cafe, the staff were wonderful, the food is fantastic quality and such a great price, everything was served with a smile”
“Lovely little café that serves a good selection of food, dog friendly area too. Looks like it'll be cosy in winter with the log burners on too.”
“Great place to visit, you have to walk from Loversall or Rossington, but it is well worth it”
“Great meet up place for people looking to get out of the home and do some work. Very friendly staff, food and drinks amazing. It was quite busy but not too loud you couldn’t do any work. I couldn’t connect to WiFi but I think the problem was picnic (problem in chair not in computer) and was just as easy to tether to phone. Will be backed - booked via the reef booking app.”
“Great place. Lovely food with big portions & fantastic cakes.”
“From the outside view, the cakes and the staff, this place is a hidden gem so many drive past without realising. The apple pie and victoria sponge are delicious. The staff so friendly, chatty, when they have time as it can be busy. Get yourself in there you won't regret it.”
“Fantastic little cafe, friendly staff who can’t do enough to help. Coffee to die for. Great menu, all our food served piping hot and very tasty. Quick service. Can’t recommend highly enough”
“Lovely little spot for breakfast and coffee/tea. Everything was fresh and tasty. Pancakes in particular were amazing. The staff was friendly and the music was on point. Will definitely come again.”
“i love this place. it’s less busy than other cafes like hygge or marmadukes (love their coffee, but the atmosphere isn’t particular favourable when I’ve a migraine and I’m trying to be productive in peace). their coffee is so silky and smooth aaaa, and their staff’s lovely. I particularly love the courtyard, and don’t think any other place has anything similar in town, maybe except steam yard but I’m not a fan of how busy that street gets. This reminds me of small European town, idk man really love mows it’s a bit selfish but im always gatekeeping cus its so special to me. Heard recent talk about them changing locations but I hope they still keep this one”
“Great coffee, delicious lunch, very reasonably priced. Lovely outdoor setting amongst the woods”
“Lovely friendly staff and tasty iced coffee and cake!”
“Beautiful food and lovely polite friendly staff, everything I have tried tastes delicious and is the highlight of going to Doncaster”
“Delightful hidden gem. Parking. Light and airy, with amazing big windows - perfect for watching the world go by. Comfy sofas for relaxing. Fabulous bacon cob. Nice hot chocolate too. Lovely owner. Great value. Love all the pictures with the history of the place and local local area. Looking forward to returning.”
