Been using the place since I went to college here so that's probable why I enjoy it so much - nostalgia! Decent squash courts and squash community.”

“A place of such rich heritage and Christian history. The place is famous for its founder - Mr Rees Howell’s - an incredible Christian figure and leader during his days. The college is now restored beautifully and a fully functioning retreat center and heritage center. There is also a short-term bible course running there twice a year. If you need a short spiritual retreat, this is the place to be. The gardens are incredibly well maintained and conducive for tranquil walks and times of prayer. The heritage center is also well worth a visit to recall the great Christian legacy left by Mr Howells. He is definitely an important historical figure in the history of Christianity in Wales.”

“Very wonderful accommodation for all students. 100% recommend if you need to stay here. Very affordable, nice environment, nice workers and highly maintained. Kept clean and lawned. Very close to singleton campus, the beach and all other shops. Few minutes to the city centre. Free WiFi and bills inclusive. If you are a student, you can’t get a better place. You’ll also have the chance to meet fellow students and socialise. The workers are always ready to attend to any issue in our apartment and always keep our deliveries for us. They also have the safe zone app for emergencies, and they come really quick. Our power suddenly tripped off in the middle of the night and the safe zone came in 5 minutes to fix it. When I came, I came around 3am and just called with the safe zone app and my key was brought to me immediately. I was helped with my luggage to my apartment, I was shown how to operate every single thing in my apartment. It’s a 10/10 experience for me.”

“I was really struggling to find a strength class locally and really glad I found this one. I haven't been great at sticking with classes in the past so wasn't feeling confident about this one but I've been attending Chris's Strong classes for 6 months now from a place of having done no training at all and am still loving it. Chris is an amazing trainer - really knowledgeable, motivating and genuinely invested in everyone being involved and improving no matter where you're starting from. Definitely recommend giving it a go!”

“What a fantastic lunch. We attended the American Lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Mac and cheese, Jack Daniels ribs, handmade burgers, handmade garlic bread, hot dog with chilli, apple and cinnamon pie, with New York Cheesecake and whipped cream. Fantastic quality, taste, and beautifully presented. We were served by Callum a student at the college, who was wonderful - he hit the balance of being friendly, communicative and being professional perfectly. Our requests were met with an attentive Callum - who was able to explain the menu to us accurately. The team led by Nicola looked after the needs of our vegetarian friends brilliantly, so we all enjoyed our lunch. Nicola runs a very professional restaurant, with high standards - so we will certainly be visiting again. Add to this the value for money - it was around £12 for a 6 course meal with free cocktail. Thank you all, and compliments to the chef (Steve) and his team of students. Service excellent. Food excellent. Young people training, excellent.”
