   Staying at hotel. Had £25pp food allocation. Seated quickly in the hotel side of restaurant on nice laid table ordered within about 5 mins. However 1 hour later still no food and the table beside us sent their steaks back as it looked and tasted unpleasant. We left without even seeing our meals and ended up going to mcD.

   Poor experience staying in the hotel for a celebration Given 2 discount codes at reception for the pub Ordered food Starters came out with additional food not ordered ( on my bill) Mains come out fish n chips good size Cajun chicken burgers plain no flavour Steak ordered medium rare came out cold n well ….. sent back 2nd steak came out hot but well they did not refresh the salad or mushrooms Had to order another main to be told kitchen might not do as it’s closed Kids garlic bread the best meal of the day Billy great service polite happy to help n overall the best experience from the evening Senior management rude Over priced Poor staff Poor food Would not recommend for the pricing but d get better food at hungry horse! (And I don’t eat there)

   Mixed experience... - fish & chips were good (portion size was about right) but not great (chips were a bit under-cooked) - kids chicken and chips was a big portion but very overcooked - pulled beef Ragu was brilliant, well sized and very tasty. Deserts were similarly mixed - chocolate Tarte was great - chocolate cookie deserts were just large cookies with ice-cream so quite disappointing - sticky toffee pudding was very overcooked (tasted almost burnt) Place was clean and service was very friendly

   Very very over priced. 6 of us paid £25 per head to have a meal here while stopping at the hotel. The menu was over priced by far. 3 small courses each £283 Over £130 extra on top for our meals. And they were basic meals. Nothing spectacular... I've had better in local pub. Sorry guys but....not again

   Really dissatisfied. Was quite quiet when we arrived. We booked a table but on arrival was told to sit anywhere. Had to walk around to try and find a clean table. Requested a child menu to be told none printed. The prices on the menu are above average for a pub so you would expect some nice food. Unfortunately not. Cajun chicken burger was like rubber. Lamb shank was all fat, should of come with seasonal vegetables and got 3 sticks of broccoli. Cheesy garlic bread was rock hard. £18 for a rump steak which in fairness was cooked correctly but came with a whole load of salad and 6 chips. Really was not enjoyable. Staff delivering and removing plates just lean over all the customers rather than going around the table, didn’t speak. There is certainly room for improvement here. Was such a shame because it had good decor and felt welcoming

   Its not a busy night, We waited 1hour for our food. when the food arrived, pizza was burnt at the bottom and was bitter to eat. ordered a steak and requested for a medium rare, but I received a well done. they also forgot about the sauce that was ordered with the steak (peppercorn sauce) I was expecting better food for the price we paid.
