Cuttle Bridge Inn is a lovely place to stayβclean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. Rooms are well-kept and offer great value. The peaceful canal-side setting makes it even better. Breakfast is tasty with plenty of choice. A great stay overallβwould happily return.

We have stayed here multiple times as family live near here. So it's always been super convenient for us. This time it felt different. Soon as we checked it, they said we have to pay an extra Β£10 for parking - this is new this year. Never had to pay extra before when booking through a 3rd party. So that was slightly annoying. This wasn't stated in the booking. Room was big but the hotel was soo cold! I saw the thermostat in the corridor and it was 13 degrees C! I put the radiator on in the bedroom straight away. Be warned! The radiator gets extremely hot! I accidentally touched the radiator and burnt myself. Rooms very outdated. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. Nothing felt clean - except the linen and towels. Went downstairs for food before going out. 2-4-1. Great price but food is pretty terrible. Pizzas only just edible i'd say. Got back pretty late. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. People walking down the hall. People in next room. Went down to have breakfast - we paid extra on the day. No plates. No glasses. I asked where the coffee was.. she showed me the instant coffee sachets you get in your room. Even though there's a fancy coffee machine right next to it. - we saw the waitress using this coffee machine for herself though! Food was terrible - worst breakfast I've had. Β£25.60 for two breakfasts. It was not worth that price at all. Shame to say that we won't be returning (although we've previously stayed here 5 times). Its just not being maintained and not worth the price.

Looking over the reviews again, it seems all the 5 stars are from people who just ate here and all the 1 stars are from people who actually slept here. The room was filthy and falling apart, the mattress was maybe the least comfortable I've ever slept on and it caved in at the sides so I felt like I was sleeping on a hill. Pillows were equally solid and uncomfortable. The bathrooms are incredibly dated and in need of renovation and some good scrubbing. Everything creaks, it's like the whole hotel is slowly falling apart, felt like my foot could go through the floor at any moment. Walls were so thin I could hear every word of the phone call the room next to me was making and a baby crying from halfway across the hotel. (Not the hotels fault that some guests are noisy but the walls could be a little less made of paper). Also Β£10 a night for parking? Come on. I can't speak for the food as I ate out but I also couldn't leave fast enough the next morning so I didn't eat the breakfast! This place might be good for a meal but DO NOT STAY HERE, it's 1 star accomodation for 4 star prices, you're better off in a bog standard Travelodge, atleast it will be clean.

Triple room booked for Sat Aug 30 room didn't have chance to inspect room on arrival dumped bags and left for an event. Late back so straight to bed and early hours of the morning, the bathroom was flooded from a constant slow drip in the ceiling above. It was highlighted to them when I went for milk in the morning (no little cartons of uht milk on tea/coffee tray) to have a coffee and we were told we should of come out of the room and let the night porter know but by that time it was 3/4am and not guaranteed a room would of been available to move into. In the cold light of day the room was filthy, shower tiles mouldy and that crack across the ceiling so obviously an ongoing problem with the bathroom above. Level of housekeeping extremely poor, random sweet on the carpet from previous guests or cleaning staff and despite asking for a call from the GM to explain our reasons for asking for some level of reimbursement on the payment taken no contact so despite the location really working for us no return.

Our room was dirty, and very tired. No Chair in the room so was very basic. Old food found in the dressing table. Cleaning in the hotel is an issue. Sticky floor in the restaurant and sticky tables, no one seemed to wipe tables down after a sitting. Was really disappointed. Car parking was Β£10 per night was not expecting that and only got breakfast for 1 morning?? On the plus side the food was good and nice to sit by the canal

This establishment was comfortable with a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were helpful, friendly and polite. It was quite nice and enjoyable. Would like though to mention the car park had no parking for disabilities making it difficult with the narrow parking spaces. Sorry but I took two spaces so I could get out of the car and placed my blue badge on the dashboard.

Not a bad place to stay, car park is a bit akward to begin with and not very clearly marked out from the road. Rooms are clean and comfortable but the staff were exceptional, approachable and friendly. Bar/restaurant on site and the food is at a very high standard. I will be staying again for future business in this area.

The food, staff and event suite were very very good. I had an issue with first room we were given....the manager swapped us and put us in a larger warmer room. However the carpet didn't appear to have been vacuumed. The the carpet had black mould around the edges paint and wallpaper pealing off. Bathroom dirty and smells of sewage. It's a shame because downstairs is lovely....the rooms let the cuttlebridge down. Again I can't fault the staff and service thank you.

We stayed here on a business trip, it was immaculately clean throughout and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was good value for money. The restaurant was a good place to unwind after a busy day. The downside for me was the draft to through the windows and road noise.

I held my 21st birthday party here. Firstly, the communication from yourselves was very poor - I booked the venue back in February and it took over a month to hear from you with regards to Costs, seating plans etc. When we arrived at the venue, the tables were already up and we had not been given an option regarding to how the room layout was despite being told we could choose. We were happy to set up with our own decorations but when we asked staff members for help supplying another table for the Sweets, the member off staff came across very rude and uninterested in helping. During the actual party, most of my guests came to me and expressed concerns regarding the hospitality team working my party. They were rude, dismissive, uninterested and people had to send drinks back as the mixers were flat, the Guinness was off and glasses were dirty. Guests to my party also found issues at check-in. My auntie was told her room reservation didnβt exist, however when I showed them the confirmation emails, the booking was found. This delayed my family getting ready for the party. Having paid Β£547.50 towards the buffet because our own catering wasnβt allowed, I was disappointed that staff removed it before the end of the party and guests were left hungry and disappointed - having paid for this food it is such a waste for it to have been binned and no members of staff came to as me or my family whether we would like the leftovers boxed up to stop it going to waste. I have looked back on the menu I chose and I am disappointed that there was no quiche, green salad or celery. At the end of the night when waiting for taxis, my guests were told to be quiet in a very hostile manner, this behaviour from staff left guests feeling unwelcome and they werenβt allowed to wait inside while waiting for taxis. My 80 year old grandmother was made to stand in the cold while waiting for her taxi.
