Didn’t expect to see a stored box arrived with the packaging. Please stock canned drinks into the fridge. Cola had tasted too warm and should it need to be left refrigerated to be more cooler would be more suitable. These items are way overpriced for what they don’t serve, I expected the cheese slice to be matured, and not regularly processed what you see through homemade burgers. *(Processed cheese is free) Please update your UberEats menu, I thought I was going to receive bap as shown in the image, but arrived just with a meal instead. It’s a priority to always update original prices like what’s listed onto your cafe menu, otherwise this is milking our wallets just because it’s on UberEats and which shows can be heavily misused. Total should be adjusted as required for the order if no other item has been provided from the selected menu, x2 toasts where no where to be seen.

Honestly the best sausage , bacon and egg sandwich I’ve ever had from a cafe I’m very very fussy as well with how I like things cooked I asked for crispy bacon and I got it, egg was perfection , and lovely sausages I think I’ve found my cafe after years !

Ate here yesterday after reading the reviews and felt compelled to leave me own. The letters are falling off the sign outside, which bares no reflection on the food, but creates a bad impression of lack of care. I was pleased to see the 5* hygiene rating sticker on the door, so ventured in. Plenty of seating and the tables were spotless. The cushion on the seat could do with a wash as someone had spilled something on it, but I could tell it was a recent stain. They weren't grubby at all. I ordered a cup of tea and was asked if I wanted it with my food or straight away. It was a perfect cuppa. My breakfast wrap had sausage, fried egg and bacon in. I expected a big full burrito style wrap but it was more like a flat bread. However, it was actually filling. My partner had a bottle of fresh orange and sausage, eggs and chips. The staff diligently brought vinegar to the table and disposed of the foil cap from the bottle. This demonstrated that they do take pride in the place. The staff were smiley and efficient. Altogether our food and drinks came to £12. Excellent value. Despite the sausages definitely being of the budget variety I would 100% return here without a second of hesitation or doubt.

As lovely bright, modern interior welcomes punters as they enter CJ’s. It has everything a traditional British cafe should have. Most importantly it offers a full English plus extras for those with an appetite. Pop in at least and have a chat with the humble, cheerful staff.

Staff are friendly and food is always hot and plentiful for the price. I tend to have bacon egg and chips and my dad has the medium breakfast. Never had a bad breakfast from here. In December they do turkey baps and since around 2015 I've been coming here religiously for them. CJ's isn't my local cafe but definitely worth travelling here come rain or shine.
