   I’ve given the service a one star simply because there isn’t an option for a zero. We ordered food from the “extra sticky” menus that were placed on the “extra sticky” tables, the order was a mixture seeing as I’d eaten that day I wanted something from the snacks & starters menu which was the Spicy chickenNachos for one along with onion rings from the sides menu, my partner ordered the “Old faithful” from the mains menus and asked for a side of cheesy garlic bread and requested that to come out first as a starter. This was not a problem according to the bar staff. We sat down and straight away the spicy chicken nachos were “dumped” on our table and the male bar member walked off. We couldn’t find any forks so I went “old El Paso” and ate the nachos with my fingers. Then after further 10 minutes the old faithful burger came out with the supposed starter of cheesy garlic bread along with my onion rings. Just mentioning this to the female bar staff she immediately went into what I call “peacock mode” raised her feathers and gave an agitated response after that responding with “I was trying to apologise” which clearly wasn’t the case, what I see was the case was being accused of being passive aggressive when trying to explain how frustrating the whole experience was. Once this settled we sat to eat what was left of the meal only to be joined by the friendly resident fruit flies also known as gnats. All in all not the best experience from a well known chain. We didn’t come here expecting Michelin star service however we did expect a standard fitting to a traditional British gastro pub.

   Fantastic service and food, been working at the NEC and a party of six of us had food and drinks, ordered from the app which worked really well, drinks arrived in around four or five minutes which is pretty good on a Friday night, food looked awesome as well as tasted great, service was really good and friendly. We needed a few extra chairs for our table which the staff got for us. If you are in the area, I highly recommend it. All six of us thought everything was really good.

   I come here after work on the way to see a show at the NEC. Never been here before, it’s a Wednesday evening a lot of families out for dinner. Ordered the sweet chili chicken and chips, wow! The portion was huge and tasted amazing. Service with a smile. Would definitely recommend

   Came for food and must say it was some of the tastiest pub grub I've had in a long time. The manager Marie was also really easy to talk to and made us all feel welcome. Can see why my sister raves about this place so much. Very reasonably priced and good portions too!

   Fantastic bar , Daniel and Libby behind the bar were great tonight . We brought the kids in tonight early evening and they welcomed us in. We also were told about a lunch with Santa this week which was below £10 and looks reasonable so will return on the weekend . A little home from home, everyone was so friendly

   Lovely friendly pub. Food good at a reasonable price. Parking spacious, you must put car reg in, the locals make sure the driver has entered it which is so friendly. Menu has loads of choices with various prices. There is something for everyone.

   Goid friendly staff with no covid restrictions followed. They have a good slection of beers and spirits. We didn't try tge food, but its similar choice to other pubs of the same category
