We chose the start of 2026, to christen this particular Toby Carvery. The Sunday lunch was fantastic and hit the spot. Our waitress Kylie was fantastic and attentative. Definitely a friendly and fun atmosphere.
We had a very enjoyable time and the service we received from Kylie was great. The only let down was one of the deserts. It was supposed to be apple & toffee crumble but just resembled a dish full of mush with cream on the side. However it didn't stop my nephew from enjoying it.
Amazing service We just came in with my daughter and managed to book breakfast with santa. Santa was excellent with her knowing exactly was she wanted. Staff was brilliant and very welcoming. Thank you for the food as usual GREAT. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
My husband and I went yesterday for Sunday lunch. There was a good choice of meats and veg although I did miss not having peas as an option and they're my favorite. I was also slightly disappointed that you no longer offer a flake with the dairy ice-cream. These little things can make a difference. However, service was good, waitress was helpful and we didnt have to wait for drinks etc, they were really on the ball.
Excellent customer service from the staff at Sheldon, especially the young lady (with glasses) who waited on the church party from All Saints Church, Small Heath. The carvery meal was good and enjoyed by our church members. It was a shame that something similar to the mid week set meal was not available on Sundays . This would have been an additional bonus for our church members.
Had a lovely time last night. The gentleman who was front of house has impeccable service. Then our waitress was also amazing they were very busy but this did not effect the service we received. Food was good but variety was not so great for a Saturday. Only 4 veg and 2 types of potatoes. Could do with more veg and bring the pasta back my children loved that. Keep up the good work. Also would have gave a tip but there wasn't an option, not sure if it's company policy not to.
The manager was amazing. He was lovely to our son who has special educational needs. And very helpful in sorting an issue I had. The food was nice. The meats were very nice. Very tender.
I had the best Toby meal ever and the service was exceptional. I was served by a delightful young lady named Nola. She is an absolute credit to your establishment and such a happy lady. She was very busy, but took the time to smile and chat with everyone. I will definitely be returning when in the area. Make sure you don't lose Nola to any competitors. Thank you.
