   Arron was an excellent server. The food was lovely and hot. It was a cosy atmosphere and a lovely place for lunch. I had a violet gin and tonic which I would definitely recommend.

   Visited here for the first time, won’t be the last. Lovely atmosphere and a great setting. We ate quite early (5pm) so it was fairly quiet still. The food arrived promptly and was very well presented. Absolutely no complaints on the quality or portion size. If you’re looking for a nice meal in a lovely old feeling pub/restaurant then this is the place. Very reasonably priced for the standard of food also. We will definitely be back.

   Really lovely chilled out place. Quick service and really polite and friendly staff. We was served by Jon and he was attentive and really helpful. All the food and drinks we had were amazing too. Absolutely would come back again.

   I can't say thank you to guys at The Old School House enough. At short notice we were let down by a nearby bar and was without a venue for my wife's birthday celebrations. John and his team were so accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. The service was amazing and the food and drink of a good quality. There was about 40 of us and all I heard was compliments about the area we had hired and how great the staff were. This place is now my go to pub again in mere green.

   Enjoyed a spontaneous dinner here on a Thursday evening. Service was prompt, the lady who tended to our table was lovely, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Portions were very good sizes and very good value for money. Kids & adults menu had sufficient choice. I wouldn't say it had much in the way of vegetarian options though and that's why it got 4 stars. We would recommend eating here.

   I had a most enjoyable lunch here. There is a quite comprehensive menu at quite reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I also liked the atmosphere. There were some interesting school related items on display which reflects on the original purpose of this building. Would certainly recommend it
