   CRAZY STAFF MY CARD FAILED .I told them go in the car get the money .I was only 5 min .I was told by the barmaid she had to go to the manager in case i did not come back for facial recognition. Only 3 pounds I donated 3 pounds to the nearest charity afterwards. As to prove how silly the pub .,I had cold food because i waited 45 min next time i ask for a refund !!! The are very slow but have time to chat to each other Also the tables were sticky not cleaned

   Recently returned to the area i grew up in. Having worked and lived in the Smoke and down South for the last 15 years I have frequented many. The service is the best I have come across for a Spoons. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I'm more of a drinker and haven't eaten back here so far.

   Good location same food as all other spoons pubs . Will go again as it's simple consisten food for a fair price . Only letdown was the amount of flies and fruit flies in there . Had to keep them of the food and drinks . Great atmosphere

   Busy at lunchtime on a Sunday. Found it difficult to find a seat for 5. Enjoyed food and drinks with the family. Was there for around 2 hours. Food served quickly and fair sized portions.

   A noisy, friendly Saturday night. Ordered on the App. Drink came quickly, food not long after. Chips crisp and fish and scampi well cooked. Explored old haunts after as used to live nearby.

   I go here with my nan as she wants to every other Friday after I take her shopping, she swears by the battered cod and chips and will never order anything else. Down side is I am both Gluten intolerant and Vegan so my options for food are very VERY limited and I often leave feeling hungry... And the one tea/coffee machine has been broken about a month so leaves a few people queuing for a drink, I miss real people making it

   Just popped in for a swift half but the place was clean and, considering it was a Monday afternoon, fairly well populated. The staff were plentiful and polite and there was a good range of ales on offer. Some of the furniture was looking a bit tired and perhaps could do with upgrading but that didn't put me off. It wasn't my first visit and neither will it be my last.
