This place is a great place to eat with family, friends or even alone or a night out, the staff are always so friendly and ready to help with a smile. I went there last week and they had new festive menus and was told they are open on Christmas for reservations. It has delicious food and a wide range of options for everyone.
I love this pub though don't visit often however whenever I do visit Sutton Coldfield or Wylde Green this is a guaranteed stop. The staff are lovely, the venue is clean, the toilets are clean and bright however there is no lock on the gents cubicle door.
The staff seemed like they didnt want to be there, very abrupt. The food came quite quickly which was good, however the fries and onion rings were hard, no one came to see if everything was ok. And when they took the plates again we were not asked how everything was. Maybe thats because they knew the food was rubbish on this occasion.
First visit today for Sunday lunch. Great food and amazing waitress! Went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our order. Will definitely go again. Thank you!

Worst all day breakfast. I small fatty piece of bacon. Half a,small tomato. Tablespoon of baked beans. 2 smallest button mushrooms i have ever seen. Bulked up by 2 big sausages full of offal. Plus a few croutons. Will not go there again for food.
Kitchen was closed, wanted a snack with my pint. Went to grab a quick one, told by a member of staff not to eat , otherwise I would be kicked out (after kitchen closed, whilst drinking pint). Just, heartless. To the owner, regarding their reply: Nah, many places allow food. Like, loads. Just be a bit human about it. Create a nice atmosphere. It's better for keeping customers. I'm glad you are trying to protect your staff decision, but, the situation, in my opinion, is in my favour. I went to buy food post 10pm on a very cold, winter's night. 3 Doughnuts.
Lovely food & interior lovely. Only issue is young lady collecting individual plates before the whole table is finished… she was doing a good job but we felt rushed. My sons dirty plate was even taken over to another customers table and stacked on top of one persons plate while the other customer with her was still eating.
Great refurb.. service from their team was first class. Took me a while to decide what to eat as there was so much that I wanted to try off the new menu. Will definitely be back to take on round 2 of the menu after round 1 ☺️
Just tried out the new yenton pub! Food was fantastic. I had the classic Bratwurst!! Thank you Dan, Kane and New Head Chef Lyn. Service from Stacey was second to non ! Wow what a gorgeous pub!
