Emily, our hostess for brunch, has been amazing. Very attentive, she made the whole experience worth while. Would come back because of her.
I didn't have a reservation and had to wait about 15 mins to be seated as the waiters were busy. I ordered steak medium (which was slightly over) with triple cooked chips and onion rings. The chips were delicious. Usually when I go to steak houses it comes with peppercorn sauce included but I was charged £2.55 for sauce! Overall, decent place but not the greatest steak.
No problem with the food. It is actually really good. The problem is the length of time it takes to be served the food. I understand that it was busy tonight but overall it took over an hour and 15 minutes to receive dessert after my main. Received many verbal apologies from the staff but it took an awful length of time.
First time here and loved every bit. The server was attentive and stopped by a couple of times to see that everything was okay. Service was prompt and the sunday roast was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself was clean and ambience was good
Awesome steak house. Had the 12oz fillet which was delicious and reasonably priced. Servers were friendly and accommodating. The place was very quiet so we didn't get to experience the atmosphere but the food and service was wonderful. The homemade steak sauce they make up is to die for. Only negative were the onion rings which weren't very nice. Around £150 for starters mains sides and 4 alcoholic drinks for 3 people. The place is definitely recommended.
Called in here after seeing them when staying at premier inn Waterloo street Birmingham. The staff were friendly and helpful and found us a table even though it was a couple of days after our night in the hotel. The buffet style breakfast was excellent, even though it was buffet the cooked stuff was hot and fresh prepared in full view of the guests. It would be easy to pig out so self restraint was necessary! The Continental breakfast was also excellent. We can highly recommend this restaurant thank you.
The meat is super good and available at a great price. I come here when I want to treat myself to a tasty steak. The dinosaur rib is incredibly tender and I definitely recommend it.
Good stakes. That garlic and olive dressing is really delicious. Great hospitality by our host (lora). Went again there. Wow...... just wow. Short rips were from heaven
This place is a bit of a mixed bag. The first time we went on a Saturday night, it was fantastic. I loved the steak, it was a huge filling portion and very reasonably priced. We had a great time, and the atmosphere, the food, and the drinks were all perfect for an anniversary dinner. We so thoroughly enjoyed ourselves that we decided to return the following day for the Sunday roast, thinking we would experience much of the same. However this was only setting us up to be disappointed. The roast was, well, fine. Nothing truly special, and we were surprised that somewhere that had served us such delicious food the previous day could produce something so average. We ate most of it, and largely wished we had perhaps opted for another steak. That is, after all, what this place is. Lesson learned: go to a steakhouse, order the steak.
