   We went for lunch to this place. The restaurant location is extremely convenient if you are visiting Birmingham or Going for the Baggies game. We were seated promptly. Server was quick and we did not notice any delay during our lunch. Food was flavorful. Loved their Mixed Grill anf wide Range of Draught beers. Other food including Indo-Chinese dishes were very good. Many vegetarians options if you have any restrictions. Staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable but considering the flavour and effort to make Dishes it was expected. Flavorful food along with friendly and quick service will never disappoint what so ever. We will come again here when we come back to this area.

The interior is cozy and full of local charm, making it a solid choice for a proper pub experience. One small area for improvement: the staff could be a bit more friendly and engaging, which would really lift the overall experience.

   Been here a few times now and the pub has been done up very well. The bar is great and there is ample seating. The service so far has been great, beers have tasted fresh but the highlight is the food. Really good flavours and not to overbearing with the spices and masala. Mix grill was excellent would definitely recommend this place for a desi mix grill one of the very best in Birmingham.

   Excellent place to visit with family or friends. We had a birthday party with 24 guests and the venue was absolutely full and busy; however we still got our allocated tables on time and the service was on point. Everything tastes amazing and the staff were super friendly. The Manager especially made an effort to look after us whilst still attending to all the customers and getting his hands dirty to ensure everyone was happy. Highly recommended by the whole family.

   Having heard so much about Royal Oak we finally decided to check it out and trust me you WILL NOT be disappointed.. the word Royal stands true. Every dish was presented with perfection. What was even better was the way the food tasted. The chefs original recipe for Chicken Mongolian blew me away! The chilli paneer and the chilli garlic chips were a huge hit. I have a very Indian/Desi authentic taste for food and this hit all the spots!!! The spice and flavour for each dish was unique. It wasn’t a one size (taste) fit all. And what topped off the night was when the chef came to ask if we liked the food. The answer was a Yes indeed! Thanks for the amazing girls night out. I’d happily recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Indian food!
