   I have been coming to this pub for years as well as my family as we are local to the area. We had our Christmas party there and the food was absolutely delicious, it’s always been nice but yesterday in particular was incredible. All 3 courses were excellent - the service, the timing, the temperature of food, the atmosphere and the way we were looked after by the staff was truly remarkable. We were in a very large group. Everyone left very satisfied on all fronts. Well done to everyone. Nailed it!

   We had a good meal at The Victoria Pub and Restaurant. The food was genuinely delicious — hearty, well-seasoned, and served in generous portions. Everything from the mains to the sides was cooked beautifully and presented with care. The service was excellent too. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, perfect for a comfortable evening out. Overall, The Victoria offers great food, great service, and a lovely setting. Highly recommended!

   Lovely experience at The Victoria! Nice and cosy place as we were seated at a spacious table for four, which was a great touch. As soon as you drive into the car park you can tell it’s a popular spot, but once inside it doesn’t feel crowded at all. I had the chicken skewers to start, which were really nice, followed by a dirty burger that hit the spot, and finished off with a sticky toffee pudding, all delicious! The service was quick and friendly, and even though it was busy, everything ran smoothly. I’d definitely come again. If you’re local or just looking for a new pub to try, give The Victoria a go as you won’t be disappointed!

   Visited for the first time yesterday for a late lunch. My friend and I chose the Lunchtime Menu, Although the selection is not huge, the dishes are quite interesting and different. Both our starters and our main courses were absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and attentive - and the bill not too bad at all. We'll definitely be returning!

   This is our 3rd time coming here. It's a really nice place which serves excellent food and drinks. Great decor, staff, atmosphere. Car park right outside. Quite handy being not too far from the motorway. I've only taken a star off for the price. 4 of us ate here during my most recent visit and it was nearly £150. It was over £10 for a G&T. I just think some of the prices are unnecessarily high.

   Seriously tasty burger! Beautiful lovely pub with friendly staff and delicious food. The pictures don't do it just justice - apologies. One of the best pub burgers I have had in a long time. Bar area is dog friendly as well. Well worth a visit!

   A first and a last for me. The last review of 2022 and my first meal out since my bypass surgery. We were sat by the radiator, which was a bonus as it was a cold day out. The bulb in the nearest light fitting was missing, so it was slightly dark. Nice clean, warm Gastro pub, though. The food was good, but I ordered Szechuan Squid, which tasted of no spice. The mains were good. Nice attentive service. I'd still go back one day.

   Visited last Friday and the staff were professional and attentive. Checking if we needed drinks and if our meal was good. Nice we had the same waitress the whole time. Great with allergies and selection of foods. I also love the vegan blackcurrant moose as I have dairy/egg intolerances so means I can have a pudding safely.    I visited to try out the new menu that has arrived at the Victoria. The food, as always, was absolutely exceptional, which is a reason why it’s one of my favourite pubs. Not only was the food amazing but the service from Erin and Reece was top notch. If you’re after beautiful scenery, outstanding food and great service then don’t hesitate to visit the Victoria!
