Mix grills are serviceable however the tandoori and chicken tikka flavours are not the best. Currys are decent. You might be better off going elsewhere for a mixy. Nonetheless the service is great and atmosphere is lovely. I will be going back for a curry soon.

Plenty of parking here but don't forget to enter you reg when you go inside. Staff are very polar. You have some really nice friendly ones and those that just look like they hate to be alive. Drinks are ordered at the bar and food by the kitchens. Prices are fair and not crazy. Food arrival time totally depends upon how busy they are. Even a simple small dish will wait is turn. Yet the food is good. There's a lot of veggie options that are clearly shown in the menu. Lots of space inside and outside in the beer garden to sit and enjoy your time. I've been a few times now and no doubt I'll be there are soon. Enjoy.

Service was excellent and very attentive. Pub was not too busy. Food was very good but I found some of the flavours to be bland. Would visit again

My first time here. I've had food from here as a food delivery and wasn't particularly impressed. However, when I visited here it was a little different. The mix grill was pretty good. The curries were well presented but they were little too sweet for me especially the King Prawn Curry. Not sure if it's the Nepalese style of cooking where they like their dishes on the sweet side. Generally it was ok, but nothing spectacular. It's a friendly pub, good service and they can pull a decent pint of Guinness

Went to The New Garden Gate and it was epic! Started with Chilli Chips – spicy and addictive. The Paneer was super creamy and the Chicken and Lamb were full of flavor. Hard to pick a favorite. The service was top-notch. Staff were friendly and quick, making the whole place feel like a family-run business. They made us feel right at home. And guess what? We even met the owner! It was great to see the person behind the food, and they were really welcoming, adding to that family vibe. The place was clean with a nice, cozy vibe, perfect for grabbing some comfort food. Overall, The New Garden Gate is a winner. Fantastic food, awesome people, and a family feel that makes you want to return. Totally going back, and you should too if you’re into tasty Indian food. I enjoyed the fish pakora and the fries had a lovely masala on them, the popadoms were crispy and fresh and the selection of yoghurt/mint, spiced vegetables and chilli sauce was a great accompaniment along with the fresh mixed salad served with the meals. I also enjoyed the chicken tikka wrap, I only ate half, as the portion seem filling, but I'm sure it's ok as a 'mansize' portion, or if you're hungry enough. The restaurant had a airy open feel, it could be a little tidier looking, maybe there are short staffed, at the time I visited, the manager and chef were professional and friendly. I would visit again and would recommend a visit to anyone visiting the area.
