   I am blessed to have this wonderful restaurant on my doorstep. I always bring my out of town guests as it amazes them that we have such a gem in our little village. And it’s my local. The menu is not extensive, but the standards are so high that a burger is a delight. Thank you to all at Cornichon for the best little restaurant in the east (of Chester).

   We had the Sunday roast and it was honestly amazing — perfectly cooked meats, crisp roast potatoes, rich gravy, and beautifully prepared veg. Everything was full of flavour and clearly made with care. The setting is cosy and stylish without feeling formal, and the staff were so friendly and attentive throughout. It’s the kind of place where you can really relax and enjoy your meal. A proper treat for a Sunday — we’ll definitely be back soon!

   Fantastic restaurant and staff. My wife and I made an impromptu visit for a coffee but such was the welcoming atmosphere we stayed a while longer and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast. We live in a neighbouring village and didn't realise how lucky we are having this gem on our doorstep. Will be back with friends.

   Fantastic food and excellent customer service at this bistro / resteraunt / bar. This is one of our new favourite places. Great selection on the menu with a few vegetarian options. Lovely drinks menu with locally sourced Wheatley gin. The chef also makes his own sourdough bread which is outstanding. Nice cosy atmosphere. Bathrooms are on the 1st floor. Limited parking outside. Lovely village location.
