Great hidden gem near Radlett high street. Charming historic building with great christmas atmosphere and lots of vegetarian options including veg roast. Very large portions. The staff were incredibly friendly, patient and efficient serving our large group of 20. Highly recommend!

CURTIS. You’re an absolute LEGEND of a man. The hospitality my siblings, partners and I, received from Curtis, was inexplicable. I was pleasantly surprised with how warm, kind and amiable his personality was. Curtis treated us with respect, love and authenticity. Very genuine, approachable and friendly. Something that is very hard to come by these days but also what is incredibly necessary for our community. Definitely recommend coming here! Been coming here with friends and family for many years, food is amazing - I recommend the masala chips! Banging. Drinks are well-priced and very affordable. The actual place itself is beautifully cosy, cottage-vibed and very comfortable for both - chilled get-togethers, and planned dinners. Thank you especially Curtis, for a wonderful night and a lovely chat! It was a pleasure to have met you. Love, Rhea and the gang!

This is a lovely homely cosy pub with delicious home cooked food with great portions. The sunday roast and gravy was the best I have ever tasted compared to other pubs in the area. Also the place was very clean. Great staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Last but not least, many thanks to the chef for the great food. I will definitely be going back there again.

This is such a wonderful, traditional pub. I had lunch with my brother & nephew last Wednesday, for my birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered and were impressed by the quality and quantity, at a very reasonable price. Thank you also to Curtis for the excellent service. We will definitely be back

Me and my family stumbled across this lovely pub today where we was greeted at the door by the lovely Curtis. From we entered his customer service was 10/10. There was something for everyone to eat as we're a fussy bunch with different dietary needs. We were comfortable beside the fire place, our waiter Curtis was very attentive to the children. It was a lovely afternoon and we will definitely will be back. We would highly recommend this lovely pub for any occasion.

Really disappointed on a special occasion day. It’s our anniversary and a Mother’s Day. Booked a table in advance. We were running late and let the staff know , that we are in the way. Whew we arrived.. surprise.. no table available , we been offered a table outside with the small child. We drive all the way from London to hear that we come for nothing. Absolutely disgusting!!

I don't know why it's asking me about rooms. . there are no rooms. It's not asking about food. . food is 2 star We went for late lunch, service fab, really friendly staff and polite. Food was, I think, some cooked from frozen. Wouldn't go back to eat there, chicken kebab was plain, served with either chips or rice with a meager offering of side salad, no pitta bread, hummus, coleslaw etc. Fish looked like something you could purchase at a supermarket. Pub is lovely to sit outside in warmer times but inside needs a decent refurb and some warmth, I asked 3 times about the heating right behind me; only to be told, eventually, that it didn't work. Decor unmatched & chairs are worn, from the photos I've seen on here. . that is nothing like our visit today ....

Lovely Traditional Pub. Great food. Lovely attentive staff. Low ceilings, open fires. Great atmosphere. Even better when they have the local music group playing their open mic sessions!!!!

Never eaten here but the problem is the lack of ventilation on the nights when people come to play music. I love the atmosphere but the room where we play has no windows at all and there has been no attempt to do anything to improve this. I really want to attend these sessions but the management really need to do something about this - put in an air cleaner at least - as it's so bad that if anyone is carrying a virus or bug it put the rest a risk. Such a pity as such a great venue.

My friends and me with a guest from USA, came to this pub with the intention to eat English food. We really were surprised by the menu. It sounded Lebanese so I asked if they have an Arabic chef which they had "Tunisian chef", very nice. We spoke to him and he recommended us what to take. So it was Lebanese food but with a Tunisian twist. I must say it was very nice experience and delicious food. Would highly recommend.
