   Tortilla Oxford has really let its quality down. The new system is slow, the food has become average, the staff were not friendly, cutlery was low on stock and not visible. One of the female staffs was down right rude and shouting for someone to collect their order. Really shouting to the point that all the customers felt uncomfortable. The person with the number being shouted was definitely the most unhappy, and he told her there was no need of shouting. This is not the first time she did this. The last time I was there she was also rude. Review was based on visit on 15-04-2025 at lunch time.

   Busy Saturday but only two people in the kitchen. Why would you not have the correct staffing for a peak day/time. Extremely poor customer service, couldn’t even get eye-contact, smile, please or a thank you when receiving my order which is the bare minimum customer service you’d expect from such an establishment. When I arrived to the store only two kiosks were working and during my stay they actually turned all 4 kiosks off and stopped serving people.. what a business.

   I used to really enjoy the food at this restaurant chain but I feel like this particular restaurant has really let the chain down. As you can see from the image it was filthy, we were there for some time and only once did we see staff tidy tables. I expect more cleanliness. The staff were also not particularly hospitable, dare to walk anywhere near the till and they will snap at you, point at the self service check out and put their heads back down.

   Great food! Some staff were very friendly but some were more stand-offish and curt, but I don’t really blame them during rush hour. I devoured a rice bowl and had no complaints. I loved everything especially the beans surprisingly, and the salsa roja was the perfect level of spice! The seating was a bit dingy though and the tables weren’t visibly dirty but sticky.

   Really good, nutritious burritos. As a uni student I go there at least 2x a week and am never disappointed. Great customer service, in particular from JD who’s simply amazing. Always greets you with a smile and some great conversation whilst serving you.

   Pretty good pork burrito. It's pretty wet and messy to eat like a true Mexican burrito. The bowls are also good, pero muy picante.

   First time eating at Tortilla and it was incredible!! I just knew I would love the food but wow it was better than expected. Also fast, with good service, and a nice area to sit. Nothing could’ve been better! Made my Oxford day trip a full 5/5.

   Very delicious quesadilla I had with pork and spicy sauce. Although for some reason they start serving quesadillas only after 2pm. The place is busy and the food is good. The staff is helpful but not very efficient.

   As a real Californian, I can say that the Tortilla in Oxford was quite authentic. The manager, Robbie, is the BEST and is very hospitable. If you’ve been to Chipotle and think you like it, try Tortilla. (Tortilla is better quality anyway…)
