This an exceptional restaurant, five stars through and through. The decor is simple and elegant, wood everywhere. Cutlery is contained in a small drawer on each side of the wooden table, very fashionable and handy. The food is amazingly put together and technically very well executed. Cocktails were also fantastic. Even the bathroom is five stars, with an old sink and two separate faucets conveying a classic look to the place.

I’m out of words! Each dish better than the next one. Beef is so tender it melts in your mouth… the guinea fowl kiev was absolutely delicious! And the sourdough was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Highly recommended!!

The food, service and atmosphere were excellent, and the restaurant itself is gorgeous. I loved the clever little drawer at each table with the menu and cutlery tucked away. Everything tasted great, though the prices lean steep for the portion sizes: £14 cocktails, £35 for a guinea fowl breast, £14 desserts. We were also a bit surprised to be charged for what we thought was regular tap water, which turned out to be filtered. Overall, it’s more of an indulgent date-night spot than somewhere you’d pop into regularly.

This place has been on the top of my list in London for a very long time and I’ve had such excellent experiences a year ago however today’s dinner fell a little short. We went for the set menu, and I must say the thing I enjoyed the most was the seaweed sourdough and brown butter at the beginning… The beer battered skate is way too tiny of a portion - merely 4 small pieces of bettered fish to share between the two of us, and yet we were given a big bowl of curry sauce. To be fair, the skate was delicious and curry sauce too, but impossible to have the sauce on its own…! Apart from the bread to start, our appetisers also included 2 other bread-based items - yesterday’s bread soaked in moules mariniere and a slice of walnut bread (couldn’t quite recall the ingredients/toppings) that tastes very like pork cracklings. Again, these were alright, but not spectacular and much preferred the sourdough with brown butter served at the beginning. The second course also came with stracciatella with berries (and pear?) which.. felt really odd as it was sweet, almost like eating a cheesecake/dessert The main was roast bavette with muscles on a bed of mashed potatoes; the beef was good but a little unsure of the concept of this dish/what the muscles add? Mash was a little too salty to my liking. The dessert fig millefeuille was a little challenging to finish, felt a bit like a breakfast/brunch item (as quite substantial). I think I would’ve enjoyed it a lot more if that is the only thing I’m eating (rather than at the end of a 4/5 course meal) Finally, the inclusion of the 12.5% service charge was a bit of a surprise and got me revisiting their website as they used to pride themselves for paying their staffs fairly and stated on their website that Perilla operates with a no-service charge policy. But guessing times are tough?

I chose Perilla for my birthday dinner with my partner and it was perfect. From the moment we entered, everything felt so special. Our servers were so lovely and accommodating, even offering to keep my fresh flowers in water. The atmosphere is very refined but not stuffy, and the decor is tasteful while also feeling homey. We loved the detail of the cutlery drawers! We opted for the a la carte menu to allow us to try as many dishes as possible. You can really appreciate the level of care that goes into every dish, and the quality of each ingredient. The cucumber with cod roe is a must try!! We were so amazed by the texture they achieved by freezing the cucumbers. The mussels dish was also incredible, and so was the bolognese. Who knew bolognese could have so much depth in flavour and such a unique texture? We left almost too full for dessert but got the delicious fig mille-feuille, which was kindly served with a candle for my birthday. They even gave me a small box of delicious truffles to take home. Our dinner was so special, I hope to be back soon.

Incredible set menu experience here with fresh food, great service and delightful flavour combinations. Indulged in the set menu with the mushroom carbonara and the custard tart being the evenings highlight. This one has been on the London bucket list for a while now and a belated V day date night didn't dissapoint. Will be back one day for sure.

Incredible lunch at Perilla, highly recommend. We did the set lunch and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend the bread and brown butter, the mushroom carbonara, and the chocolate tart. Also, the Paloma cocktail was the best I've ever ever ever had. 5/5.

What a gem! A must for any local or foodie (worth the travel to). It is clear there is a lot of thought in the ingredients, quality of and execution to the dishes. I loved they play with textures and flavours. I was blown away by the focaccia and loved the soup dish mopping it up with the sourdough we ordered. The schnitzel was heavenly. Great for couples or small group of 3-4. Can get a little bit loud when at full capacity. Lastly a big thank you to our servers. Both were authentic and helpful.
