“One of the most wonderful meals i’ve ever eaten- i felt like i was back in Italy. Everything I ate was sublime, so rich in flavor and such large portions for the price. You must get the parmiggiana di melanzane!!! I will be dreaming about this. Both the wine and the melon shots were also divine. The atmosphere is warm and beautiful, with an absolutely gorgeous secret garden in the back. The staff- an italian family from Bologna- were so friendly and attentive. They gave me a tour of the entire restaurant, gave me great recommendations and talked me through all of their dishes. Would go back in an instant. 100/10”

“Fantastic pub for casual drinks or to hire for an event. A friend hosted their birthday in a private room here, and the drinks were reasonably priced, service was attentive and the aesthetics/space was very cool. Would definitely come here again.”

“5 stars are just not enough for the food and services we received in GIA. Would have given them 10 stars if Google allows! We lived in Dalston for our stay in London and found GIA accidentally. We went there twice during our stay and both the English and Mediterranean breakfast we had were absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh and all the food on the dishes (even the honey that they make it themselves) were so delicious that we still want to head back for their breakfast even after we moved out from Dalston! The waiter there was very nice and considerate and it’s definitely a very pleasant experience to have our start of the day there! Highly recommend this place to anyone!”

Everything we had was delicious! the portions were a good size, after olives and delicious cheesey garlic bread, we took half our pizzas home so we could squeeze in a dessert. Top choice. “I just ordered a chicken dish but received 4 great complimentary dishes. There was some fresh bread, caramelized onions, spiced sliced onions and a huge salad. The chicken was nicely grilled and served in a yogurt sauce with aubergine. It was a great combination!”
