    Do you believe that you can get 10pc of salt and pepper chicken wings for 6 pounds? The hot and sour soup is great! The salt and pepper tofu and the salt and pepper squid are all delicious, but they don't do delivery, so you have to pick it up yourself.

    The actual name of this Chinese Takeaway appears to be ‘Hong Kong’ and specifies ‘Chinese and Thai to Take Away’ on the menu (added front and back photos of the full, extensive menu available). It’s take-away only, situated on the first floor of the block of flats. We popped in on an evening and ordered (clockwise from top left) crispy chili beef, prawn toast, Thai king prawn fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. We also wanted crispy seaweed but they were sadly sold out. The woman working the counter advised that it’d be five minutes or so to cook our order and it was really that fast - around five or ten minutes at max. All of the food seemed very fresh and was pretty tasty, veg was crisp, and the prawn toast was perfect. Sauces were a bit on the sweet side for me but generally very nice overall. Portion sizes are very generous. The prices cannot be beat, though - nearly everything is in the £6-£8 range - so you can get a rather substantial Chinese spread for very little money, a particularly excellent value for London. Will definitely order again when we’re next in the Putney area.
