“Took my son for his birthday to try Dim sum as he wanted too so badly. We absolutely loved our meal tasted fantastic the staff was so nice and friendly seems like a family run place, i was really genuinely impressed with everything. To top it up as we paid the lovely lady brought a gift to my son for his birthday and a hand written card . Touch of class thank you so much panda staff for a delicious meal and a nice time .”
“Cathy and Jm are always so welcoming, caring and kind… the food is carefully prepared and presented… and is so tasty … lovely options for those with dietary limitations”
“Am amazing find hidden away. This is in a food court but it feels like you step into south east Asia when you go inside. The food was very authentic, fresh and I would go far as to say the best dim sum / yum cha I've tried in the UK! So fresh, they make in front. Also there is a bar in the food court with many types of Asian drinks and beers. Small family run stalls in the food court. I saw Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian from memory. Dim sum reasonably priced - video shows the menu. My photos go into the food court too.. love it!”
“Amazing food, amazing service definitely recommend to everyone number 103 beef dish amazing”
“This Company never disappoints. The food is always prepared hot and flavorsome. The meal Presentation is lovely. The staff are very attentive and they serve customers quickly. I Love their vibrant red bandanas too. Thank you for our meal!”
“Lovely dim sum and main me u. Hidden gem in the suburbs of zone 4. Also competing against cheaper options at nearby bang bang oriental but worth the visit. They really care about feedback and explained to us why some things werent available, as they operate zero waste. Will be back.”
“This restaurant is more than twice the distance of my local one but so worth the extra travel time. The dim sum was exceptional, very high quality and well made. It was also very good value compared to the nearest biggest dim sum restaurant. An unexpected added bonus was the Saturday 1pm raffle which was good fun and very generous of the restaurant. Staff and service was great too. No dedicated parking is the only negative. I highly recommend and I will be returning again soon.”
“Nice Sushi & Dim Sum, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, reasonable prices.”
“I had a great experience during my recent visit. Karem provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. He was attentive, polite, and very professional throughout our time there. He checked on us regularly without being intrusive, made sure everything was okay with our order, and handled everything with a genuinely friendly attitude.”
“Worth it for the roast duck. The wait can be long, no reservation, turn up and you may get a table. The seating is tight, not a lot of elbow room, but it has its charm. The payoff for the wait and limited seating is that you get authentic dim sum at an extremely competitive price point. All the classics are here, xio long bảo, ha cậu, cháu fung. All made to order and has the authentic taste. The duck is the star of the show and it is worth getting a plate to share with the table.”
“We had a lovely Sunday evening meal with friends at this restaurant. The service from beginning to end was great and the staff were warm and helpful. The food was delicious, highly recommend the butterfly king prawns, crispy chilli beef, lamb lettuce wrap and crispy duck pancakes. Definitely will be coming back.”
“Lovely place and incredible food ! Everything was delicious, from dim sum to ramen or rice, everything tasted very very good !”
“Very ‘authentic’ HK style dimsum - love it here! A little bit pricey, but hey it is Kingston after all! Lucky to have this spot as a local restaurant. They have changed owner / name of the restaurant recently- FYI. Fav dishes so far - the siu mai, har gau, pork buns, custard cream buns and the pork pastry. Decent beef hor fun.”
“I have been here a few times since it has opened and every time I have been the staff and service has been outstanding. A special shout-out to our lovely waitress Sophie. All the staff here are so lovely but Sophie was just so nice and accommodating. It was my friends birthday and all the waitresses went above and beyond to make it so special. We arrived at 5pm and didn't leave the restaurant till after 10pm. They made us feel welcome and at home and nothing was too much to ask. Another mention for the great cocktails that were made for us and were actually given complimentary. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to all at Dim T. Also the food was amazing. All made fresh and hot when arrived. Thank you team. Will see you soon. X”
“My first experience here was really good. I came here for dinner. Very friendly staff, great service, the ambience is nice and the food is great! I could feel that the chef is quite diligent in cooking every dishes. Out of the restaurants in the area, I think I had my best experience here. I had the Peking duck, beef noodles and classic dim sum which were authentic. The staff are extremely professional and kind. This has become my favourite new Chinese restaurant to eat and I can‘t wait to revisit again!”
“I have been so many Chinese restaurant round, salt and pepper chicken wing is fantastic that I have ever had. Is very special to compare with other restaurant. I will highly recommend. The quality and quantity of the food is amazing, and the price is reasonable.”
“Great Chinese restaurant would recommend”
“Superb Dimsum on a beautiful Terrace. Tucked away, hidden place in Harrods. You can even Smoke a cigar on the terrace. Lacks Atmosphere, but if you are looking for a quiet place, then it’s a real hidden Gem.”
“Tasty dumplings, quick and friendly service at the counter. The steamed prawn and mushroom dumplings are full of prawn. The fried dough dumplings are good too and come with a dipping sauce.”
“Amazing, have never been disappointed from this restaurant despite the negative reviews. This has been my local for years and it’s still as good, at least the items I order.”
“Tasty food, especially the beef rice noodles soup is delicious. The dim sum platter is good too. Very close to South Kensington station. Homely feel to Chinese international students at IC and RCM.”
“I’ve been to many restaurants, those which include restaurants that have multiple Michelin stars. I am super critical with reviews, but I never thought it would come to the day I would say this.. but this food “is food that brings you back home… back home to your mother”. That’s so rare in this day and age and think how much of an expert someone has to be to create that with Thai food for someone coming from Sri Lankan origin. Every ingredient is fresh, the blend of spices, the quality of meat and the food expertly made brings a dish which is truly homemade and delicious. I have never experienced anything that tastes truly homemade from a restaurant outside the home. I feel great after eating this too compared to other takeaways as it’s so natural. This is hands down the best restaurant in St Albans. Kat and her partner are such a superb couple running this restaurant, they are incredibly kind and accommodated to a special birthday request. They both came out and greeted us, which was super kind of them and proved many things but the biggest.. this is homemade food, food made from the heart. You want to try true Thai food.. don’t bother with the £800 flight, come here - to this very place a drive away in a lovely home situated in St Albans and you will experience it first hand. Well done and thank you - see you again soon.”
“After applying for a US visa, I came here randomly, about 10 minutes walk from the US embassy. The attitude of the store is very good, especially the Japanese fried noodles taste delicious!”
“We made the most amazing sushi! Thanks so much Simon for a wonderful birthday evening full of laughs, sushi and homemade goodies. Simon taught us all about the history of sushi, showed us how to make it with accessible ingredients and gave us so much knowledge we will use in our kitchen going forward! I can't wait to try more of your classes”
“Well, this is a surprise! went to try the new place out and we were really delighted with the quality of the food, very flavourful and just the right spice level, very authentic. instantly up to the top of our choices for Indian restaurants in Caterham. and the Chinese food we saw coming out from the kitchen looked really good too!”
“Nice & delicious true 100% Hong Kong taste take away.”
“This 50 year old business is surely an institution at this point. The owner tells me that one of the beautifully cared for plants in the window is 30 years old, saying that is was “older than you!”. After Christmas he says it will be time to close as he will retire. The food was delicious. What a loss to the community. This is exactly what makes London, London.”
“Cliff was my host and he was such a gentleman, and I was made to feel welcome! The food was excellent and the ambiance was amazing! Thank you so much cliff and team! Amazing!”
“Excellent food! Amazing service! We really enjoyed the dim sum, the soup and the salt&pepper chicken! We will definitely come back! The best dim sum in North London!”
