“Very tasty food for lunch! I've had super delicious rice noodle salad, and pork buns. They also have amazing laksa. You can also buy some small snacks here such as Korean yoghurt biscuit sticks, and interesting unusual drinks you might not have tried before. I will definitely be coming back here soon for lunch! Portions are of a fair size, price is reasonable as well for the quality of the food.”

“The duck meal was delicious, as so was the scallop dumplings, soup dumplings. The panda sweet dumplings were not only cute but also very nice, with bean paste inside, not overly sweet. On the higher end price for Chinatown but quality is good and the place is quiet. Nice service”

“We were in London recently and we wanted to try somewhere different to the other places we had eaten at previously, and we were so glad we discovered Orient. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady who gave my girlfriend advice (as she doesn't like too spicy food) on some recommendations, and I was delighted to see that they done an extensive curry range (as some of the places we had visited in Chinatown previously did not have any curry's on the menu). The decor was very nice and the place was very clean. ALL the staff we dealt with were so friendly and they could not have been anymore helpful, and we were given ample time to browse the menu at their extensive menu range. The service was very quick. On our first visit I got prawn crackers and sesame prawn toast for a starter. And the main I chose a beef curry with Thai fragrance steamed rice. The beef was absolutely beautiful, it was thinly cut and was SO tender and perfectly cooked. The rice was perfectly cooked. My girlfriend got Spring Rolls for a starter, and for her main she got sweet & sour spare ribs, and she said it was absolutely beautiful. On our second visit I got a lamb curry with the Thai fragranced steamed rice and my girlfriend got Pork belly with preserved vegetables and noodles and beansprouts, and again it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Another thing I will add is we both got the Lychee juice, and it was lovely, and it went very nicely with our food, and we had not seen this type of juice at other places. And again on our second visit the staff were exceptionally friendly and the service again, very quick. We both were of the same opinion that the Orient will be our go to place for a Chinese meal when we are in London, and we both cannot wait to go back again and sample their delicious food again.”

“Authentic Chinese restaurant with few unique dishes that you wouldn’t find in other restaurants nearby. The duck tongue and the tripe soups were delicious. Also fantastic were the spicy won ton. The pork soup was sweet and warming. Highly recommended. We got a table for three with no reservations on a Monday evening and only had to wait for a table for 5 minutes. Friendly and polite staff. I’ll be back for sure.”

“Great experience. The servers were very polite, though the host at the front was a little rude. The food was amazing I ate much more then I probably should have simply because I wanted to try as much as possible. They have a wide assortment of vegan and vegetarian options. The process of ordering was a little confusing, you are meant to mark what you want on a paper menu but at one point the person taking my order didn’t use the paper but at another point they did use the paper. It was just a little confusing overall. They also recommend that you order 3 to 5 dishes. I ended up ordering 5 because I wanted to but I do wonder if there are limitations on ordering 2 or 6.”

“This place is simply sublime! The two best dishes in my opinion are Beef with green pepper in black bean sauce and their Roast duck with fried rice. Stumbled across this tiny, almost hole in the wall-esque restaurant when a friend of mine from China recommended it. Reasonably priced and of good quantity. The grumpy looking owner is like a funny cartoon character. Although he's annoying and hard to understand, the food is well worth the hassle.”

“A really nice restaurant, very good service and very good food. We went for a birthday and the staff really went above and beyond to make it special. They have a wide variety of food for everyone. We had two vegans in the group, one person who does like spicy food and a couple of people who don't like certain veg - so quite the problem group. But they accommodated well for everyone, taking the time to explain the foods to us. Will definitely visit again. The place itself is well spaced out so you don't have to listen to the table next to you talking. Very impressed.”

My absolute favourite is the Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style, crispy, tangy, and just the right balance of sweet and savoury. It’s honestly the best version I’ve ever had! I’ve tried other places over the years, but nothing compares. The batter is always light and crispy, the chicken is tender, and the sauce is just perfection. After 5 years of ordering, I can confidently say this place has never let me down. Moving area soon and this place will be a big miss!”

“Discovered Tian Tian Market while exploring Canary Wharf’s shopping centre, and it was a great find! The store is spacious, spread across two levels, and very well stocked with a wide variety of Asian products. We visited on a Saturday, and although it was quite busy, the service was efficient and friendly. There were so many interesting items to browse, and we picked up some delicious snacks. It's a fantastic spot for anyone looking for authentic Asian groceries—definitely worth a visit!”

“ordered via just eat for the first time from this place so so delish, first time ordering from here. i got the mixed sushi platter, was so so worth it. fish was fresh and HUGE, lovely smooth buttery fish. duck roll was delish too without it being overpowered by the hoisin. came with alot of ginger, soy sauce and wasabi. also came with spring rolls (added on as a free item, they're standard as the sushi was the highlight). delivery driver was so friendly and efficient. would definitely recommend and order from again :)”

“We had a great experience at this restaurant! The owner was very welcoming and made sure the chef came to speak with us. They were super nice and friendly. I can't eat spicy food, so the chef made special dishes for me without chili, and they were absolutely delicious! My family enjoyed their spicy dishes too. We will definitely be coming back because there is something for everyone here. They also have live singing on Fridays and Bollywood night on Saturdays I think which we're excited to attend soon. Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place!”

“Terrific Cantonese restaurant with all the classic dishes, we had 5 dishes here tonight and we loved it all! The Salt Baked Cornfed Chicken was excellent and the Stuffed Tofu/Aubergine/Green Peppers too. The Mixed Meat Crispy Mein was great, and the Crispy Squid in Chillies n Salt. Service from staff very friendly... a very recommended restaurant”

“Ended up here as my usual Chinese was closed. I am SO glad I came here!!! The food was absolutely amazing, hot, fresh and really tasty! Find the recent reviews hard to believe; My only complaint is that the BBQ sauce was too salty.. but the food itself was absolutely beautiful. We had chow mein, egg fried rice, salt and pepper chicken, salt and pepper chips, crispy chilli beef & mini vegetable spring rolls. Absolutely gorgeous this will be my new regular Chinese!”
