The portions were generous, the prices fair, and the service was incredibly friendly. This is easily the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Highly recommended!”

“I had the best chicken dumplings that too affordable price. Chicken Tom yum soup had lil less chicken but overall the soup was tasty. It was pretty quick as well and good customer service.”

“Absolutely incredible food from Chelsea Gourmet Oriental! My boyfriend and I, as well as my best friend and her family order from here regularly and the food is absolutely delicious, fresh, clean and tasty! Most importantly it’s MSG free! It’s not oily/fatty or soggy. I usually eat at top rated restaurants worldwide and I’m really fussy because I know how to cook well myself, so I can honestly say this Chinese take out is a 10/10 and my ‘go to’ for Chinese in London! Well done on providing such a great service and excellent food! I look forward to ordering again!”

“Revisited in February 2023: Same great place for Dim Sum as always, my favourite Soho joint. Most times you'll get a table very quickly unless you come in a larger group. Large variety of steamed, grilled and cold dim sum available (until 5pm), also appetizing mains. Prices are very reasonable. Service is typical of busy Chinese places: Rush, rush, rush! But the atmosphere is a bit more relaxed. Highly recommended! Original review: I simply can't praise this place enough, mainly for Dim Sum. Went there again twice, and again good quality, speedy service (the portly chief waiter is a full pro), great selection and competitive prices indeed. Simply can't figure why some people are so critical.”

“I had never had anything like the crepe before but since I tried in March, I've thought about it at least 3 times/week! I returned for my second visit today and I'm so happy I did - these are incredible textures/flavours at an unbelievable value (starting at £5). The star of the show here is the jianbing/Chinese crepe. It starts as a thin French crepe but then they make a spring onion omelette on top of it and use it to wrap up fried dough sticks and spicy/sweet sauces. Various meats, pickled vegetables, and/or enoki mushrooms can be added for a surcharge. Really tasty, very hot, and very filling!!”

The restaurant is spacious and well-organised, making it an easy choice even for walk-ins. We ordered a great selection of dishes, including three-combination rice, xiao long bao (so good we ordered them twice), pan-fried pork and vegetable buns, rice noodle rolls, chive dumplings, Singapore fried vermicelli, Thai-style boneless chicken feet, egg tarts, and silken tofu pudding. Everything arrived promptly and was consistently well-prepared, with clean flavours and good balance. The xiao long bao stood out with delicate wrappers and plenty of soup, while the Singapore noodles had excellent wok hei without being overpowering. Desserts were light and refreshing, rounding off the meal nicely. Service was efficient and attentive, and the location is very convenient—just one stop from Canary Wharf on the Elizabeth Line. Overall, China Palace is a dependable option for quality Chinese food in London, whether for a casual meal or a group gathering. No reservation needed, and definitely worth a visit.”

“Always a Reliable Choice. We've been using this Chinese Takeaway for many years and never had a disappointing meal. Quick & accurate on the phone, pleasant service and food ready in about 20 minutes; Always fresh, hot and good. Portion sizes are large and prices seem fine to me. I can strongly recommend this place, call them up when passing Rayners Lane on the Met and your dinner is ready for collection as you pass the shop.”

“We are occasional customers of the Blossom House and only ever use their take away service either with delivery or collect in person. However, the food is consistently great and normally the order is 100% correct. Last night we placed an order for delivery. A few minutes later the restaurant called to say that they had a credit showing on our account for a dish they had missed off our last order a couple of months ago. They asked if we now wanted that dish with the current order which we did but tbh I had completely forgotten about it. The restaurant could have easily not said anything about it and left it to me to remember. So they’ve restored their record of 100% accuracy and added complete honesty to the list of reasons to recommend them.”

“Delicious and authentic Szechuanese food. I enjoyed eating here what more can I say! Had good variety of noodle, rice and meat dishes, plus drinks shared between 4 people + drinks came to only £23 pp. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Bright fluorescent lighting, clean toilets. “This is a bit of a late review but a year ago, Hoi hosted my leaving dinner for my friends and family. I can't thank her enough for how hospitable she was before and during the event!! We sat and discussed the menu weeks beforehand and the whole process was so smooth. I would highly recommend hosting your event at Dragon Inn”

“The best Chinese food. Everything is fresh and delicious. Have ordered from here multiple times and it's always great. They get very busy with collection/deliveries over the weekend so waiting times can be pretty long but it's worth the wait, the food is amazing. The staff are lovely, friendly and polite. We had king prawns friend rice, prawn sesame toast, and fried beef with peppers & asparagus...very delicious. I could have ordered a whole lot more from the menu, but wife didn't cooperate :) P.S - they have a nappy changing table upstairs which was helpful with our baby.”

“Dim sum was so good - tried the lot! The best Chinese I’ve had in London and I have been here for 20 years. Char ciu pork buns and deep fried garlic prawn something (on the specials menu) were my favs. The place reminds me of dim sum places in Hong Kong. Tables free up quickly but they won’t give you a table until your entire party is there.”

“New management which shows significant improvement compared to last 20+ years I had in this restaurant. Visiting during the day with great taste Dim Sum. A few private parking space but free off street parking at night. Will definitely come again at night to try their main dishes and seafood.”

“What an unexpected surprise! I went to China Feng expecting nothing more than a standard Chinese restaurant but I was in for a surprise. This is a truly authentic Szechuan place at the most reasonable prices in London. They also seem serve some traditional Korean dishes (i.e. Samgyetang) and my Korean spouse confirmed they were true to the original flavour. Another nice touch is that they sell a small selection of healthy takes on Chinese street food, their healthy Youtiao (Chinese fried breadstick) is to die for and I think this is the only place in London with a similar offering. Lastly, I want to say that the service was impeccable and definitely the best we've ever experienced at any restaurant in London. Our orders came very quickly and the staff was super attentive and kind. Will definitely be back!!!”
