“These guys were so friendly and amazing. I was so overwhelmed having to look for a traditional outfit for a Indian wedding which I’d never done before, so I found them in tooting and from the second I walked In they were helpful, offered to let me try things on, helped me put a saree on and showed me how to do it. We’re super patient whilst my indecisive self couldn’t decide on colours and a pattern! Could not recommend them more!! If I ever need a traditional Indian outfit again I will Be going straight back there, thank you! Melody xxx”

“huge park with loads of little areas to visit, get a bike if u can. palace was a bit of a bummer cause the whole facade was under renovation, saw Queen Victoria’s statue, proceeded to miss Diana’s then ran around the pond to visit her memorial (which is small!) it’s just a really great place to wind down after traipsing around the city like mad rats the whole day. loads of birds here, including ducks, swans and geese for the occasional bird watcher.”

    The Albert Memorial

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Open

“The Albert Memorial, located in Kensington Gardens directly opposite the Royal Albert Hall, is one of London’s most magnificent and symbolic monuments. Commissioned by Queen Victoria and unveiled in 1875, it honors her husband, Prince Albert, and stands as a powerful tribute to Victorian ideals of art, science, and global culture. The level of detail in the sculpture is astonishing. Prince Albert sits beneath an elaborate Gothic canopy, holding the catalogue of the Great Exhibition of 1851—one of his most significant achievements. Around him are sculptural groups representing Europe, Asia, Africa, and America, as well as symbolic figures of the arts, sciences, agriculture, and industry. The memorial is not only a historical monument but also a peaceful and beautiful spot for reflection. Surrounded by trees, flowers, and pathways, it blends perfectly with the beauty of Kensington Gardens. It’s especially striking in the golden light of early morning or late afternoon. If you're visiting Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, or the Royal Albert Hall, don’t miss this landmark. It offers insight into British history and the legacy of one of its most influential royal figures. A perfect spot for photography, learning, or simply enjoying London’s historic charm.”

“The Ready Money Drinking Fountain (1875) is Regent's Park's most charming oddity – a whimsical Gothic Revival monument topped with a heron, where both humans and dogs once drank together! Though no longer functional, its intricate carvings (look for the lizard and squirrel details) and historical plaque make it a delightful pitstop near the boating lake. Why it’s special: A rare surviving "double fountain" (separate tiers for people/pets) Donated by philanthropist Sir Cowasjee Jehangir, whose Bombay shipping fortune funded London’s clean water movement Perfect photo op during rose garden visits Tip: Find the hidden inscription: "The gift of Ready Money Cowasjee Jehangir of Bombay." Pair with a stroll to Queen Mary’s Gardens nearby.”

“I have been following Petals at Bibendum on Instagram because I truly enjoy seeing their photos of their magnificent floral arrangements. I needed to send an arrangement to a friend in London, even though I live in the US. I messaged with them and they were so efficient in responding to me and we’re happy to assist me with choosing the perfect arrangement and making sure it was delivered when I needed it to be. They were so professional & kind to work with, & my friend was so pleased with her floral arrangement. They were absolutely beautiful and truly cheered her up! I wish they were in the US where I live, because I would make Petals at Bibendum my new floral go to! If you haven’t checked them out on Instagram, I highly recommend you do, everything is just exquisite!”
