No staff available. One lady called upstairs twice for someone to come down. After 15 minutes he appeared. Found the shoes and disappeared again, leaving other customers bemused. Went to pay, surprise, no staff again. Will not be returning
Great super store, huge choice for sports wear and goods. Large onsite free carpark. We went for girls football wear, more than enough choice. Spoilt for choice with football boots and trainers too. Note - there is no toilet but Sainsbury's is a 2 min walk away for the toilet ! They also sell lego, kids toys and work wear
Recently visited this Sports Direct location and was quite disappointed with the customer service. We waited a long time for someone to assist us with shoe sizes, but no staff were around the shoe section. One staff member, who was working in the clothing section, was asked to send someone over. However, we didn’t receive a proper response. Eventually, she came over herself, only to assist another customer while we were still waiting. The experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. This store really needs more attentive and trained staff who understand basic customer service and prioritization.
Terrible service today at SOLIHULL sports Direct. The online shop sent me the wrong size trainer with the right size trainer box. I tried to return this in store however they said online returns only. I’ve sent sports direct numerous emails about there mistake no reply. She said to buy the same product AGAIN! and they will give me a refund for the other one online. I’m still waiting for an online refund. Anyways the same trainers I bought again in the correct size, were in worn and terrible condition and the only size. I needed them for an occasion therefore had to buy, as the manager wouldnt even order a new size in the same shoe for instore delivery for me. Never going to purchase online or instore. What a horrible experience with sports direct online and instore. Stay away. Sports direct is a scam store, DO NOT BUY ONLINE!!! JD Sports is so much better experience.
Terrible customer service and ridiculous exchange policy where they give you paper credit notes. Very outdated system from the dark ages.. Had a very poor experience today where each member of staff told me a different thing that needed to be done follwing a mistake they made themselves!
Tried to purchase trainers eventually found a member of staff after 10 minutes of trying to locate one. Is was then asked to wait in the service area... again nearly 10 mins When a staff member passed by i asked for my size the staff member just said not in my size... Wasted nearly an hour in this shop needless to say i did not make a purchase and i guess neither did the other shoppers waiting did.
Exceptional store in many ways and such a huge range of quality merchandise. The staff are friendly and helpful and the store has a huge customer car park which is an added bonus
Great selection of sports clothing and equipment but terrible staff and an even worse returns policy. If you need sports stuff and you don’t want to break the bank, this is definitely where you want to go, but make sure you are certain in what you are buying and as you will not get your money back. Me and my partner bought complete tennis attire for a fancy dress night which ended up being cancelled. But the following day when we came back to return the unused, unopened items we were informed that Sports Direct as a company so not do refunds, at all. This was not clear at all when purchasing the goods and we were directed to a completely unofficial small unbranded statement which informs the customer about this awful policy. It was not clear, not visible easily and it is a bit of a con really. Luckily they have a USC in the same building so we were able to exchange for some clothing from there but it is still an awful policy. Also, the staff in here seem non-existent, you can never find them and when you do come across one they are miserable and make it clear they do not want to be there. Even when we spoke the the manger regarding the returns policy, it was clear she did not care at all about our complaint and just wanted to move on and go back out the back.
Nice big shop for good prices. Staff could be more friendly and helpful. The one I dealt with was Cocky and very unpleasant to talk to.
