    Delicious well presented food freshly cooked to order. Served nice and hot which is important to me. Nice clean premises which is also a must. The prices are very reasonable too. The staff are really welcoming and I highly recommend this café.

    Popped into here today for something to eat before heading home as I haven't visited this cafe since I was a child. The lady taking and running the orders was lovely and very pleasant. She took my order at the table and brought everything over to me I have left 3 stars as the inside of the cafe appears to be a bit neglected when it comes to the finer details, the name on the wall looks old and a bit tacky and the place could do with a fresh lick of paint and just something to make it more inviting to eat there. I ordered the fish and chips alongside a hot chocolate and whilst the hot chocolate and chips were nice, the fish was a massive disappointment, especially given the price. The batter was verging on being burnt and the fish itself was overcooked, chewy and dry. I would have also expected a larger portion, again, given the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn't eat there again unless improvements were made or the prices were reduced to actually match the quality and quantity of food provided.

    Lovely little cafe. No frills, but comfortable and welcoming. I found the chicken, chips and peas Special to be excellent value and my only complaint was the chicken was a touch dry. Warm and helpful staff, speedy service, clean and a good price. Considering everywhere else in town seems to shut for lunch at 2.30pm this was a godsend!

    Very good cafe. Staff here have always been pleasant towards us & had a laugh with us. Food is consistently good & very good prices. I am a truck driver & have eaten all over the country. Sidewalk cafe is by far one of the best cafes i have eaten in.

    I ordered my food for me and my family and it was accepted, 3 minutes later it was cancelled with no explanation other than ‘not to contact’ and so I called and they said they didn’t have a driver to do an hour journey yet I live 20 minutes away and then had the phone put down on me. The lady on the phone was very rude. Why accept an order if you’re just going to cancel and not give a reason. The fact it states not to contact either is disgusting, maybe a give a reason as to why!!

    Cancels orders without notification, enquiring says distance but have delivered multiple times in the past. Wont order again!
