A delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting! What a wonderful find! Café FeVa is located inside The Red House, which is home to a marvelous antique shop—it makes for such a unique atmosphere. We stopped in for breakfast and the food was fantastic. We tried a few different types of omelettes, which were cooked perfectly, as well as the sourdough toast with halloumi and avocado. The bread was really tasty and fresh. The coffee was excellent too, and served with a genuine smile. It’s the perfect spot to fuel up before browsing the antiques. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for something fresh and lighter than most places, you might want to try FeVa's omelettes. They come with chips or salad, and the portions are abundant. Also, amazing view from the tables!

I just visited with my mum for afternoon tea on a sunday afternoon. The range of sandwiches and sweets were perfect for us and the scones were even still warm! could have done with a bit more clotted cream and jam but we do like to smother our scones! Service was amazing the lovely lady serving us made sure we were comfortable and kept checking in on us for if we needed anything else. It was perfect sat in the window people watching while hearing the Minsters bells. Would definitely recommend for afternoon tea or any other cafe needs you’d desire in the centre of york!

Had a lovely experience here! The Menemen paired with a good breakfast tea is unbeatable. The owners are super friendly and make the place feel welcoming. Highly recommend for a relaxed and tasty breakfast/cafe spot.

This is an absolutely brilliant place for brunch. I usually has no appetite in the morning, but when my friend took me to this place I thought”okay, why not”. Thanks to myself, I made the right choice. The Full English breakfast is taste and fresh, I can enjoy the scenery outside the window while eating as well. BTW, I talked with the owner and she was very enthusiastic about her food and restaurant, very friendly lady. You should definitely try this restaurant

In September 2022, I went to London, Nottingham, York and Edinburgh. I have the best all-day breakfast here. This restaurant is on the first floor of an antique shop. The food is wonderful and the vibe is excellent. I don't want to over-describe this restaurant, but I will say this is a must try restaurant in York.

Following a search for the York's best breakfast dish from York Press, I’ve come to the right place. My eggs Royale looked beautiful. The thick and slightly salty smoked salmon worked perfectly with the creamy hollandaise sauce. The poached egg that elegantly balanced on top burst to reveal a perfectly gooey yolk. Great service and good value! Strongly recommend!

Situated in the Old Antiques House on the first floor. We visited on a Friday lunch time and it was very quiet. We had prebooked afternoon tea for two, with one needing to be dairy free. This was accommodated brilliantly. Attentive staff who were friendly and welcoming. Very generous sizing. We had to bring some home! On the photos, the afternoon tea on the black skate is the dairy free option. Would highly recommend.

Wow, what a great experience! Me and my party started on brunch then we have extended our stay ! Right in the heart of the city, when we parked up at the shambles q park it was so easy to get to. Initially we were late for our reservation but the lovely staff Alva managed to hold it for us and set the table up for our little York Adventure. Also she have given us the directions to the York train museum, she was very knowledgeable with all the trains which is a lovely conversation to have with her. We would love to visit again, and thank you for your wonderful food Alva !
