Collected Sunday lunch again today.The trio meat meal it was perfect reasonably priced,cooked perfectly generous.portions,Collette and staff are so pleasant and helpful really recommend this place.
Excellent and timely service of a pre-ordered festive meal for 9 people. Food tasted great, and the staff were flexible about a few cancellations to our order. There was a discrepancy with the shared bill at the end, which could well have been our fault, but the manager was incredibly reasonable and waived this. I would definitely return for food and/or drink, of which they have a wide and very affordable choice.

Best cozy place in Birmingham, the best steak ever, great value, super amazing people. Feels like home and I can tell it’s really loved by the community. All the food is amazing, I would definitely recommend this place. And I’m definitely coming back, this place is a treasure.
I have been going to the Tavern since arriving in Birmingham and have enjoyed it everytime. The staff is always very helpful and the place has a great ambience and atmosphere. They are also pet friendly so you might get lucky and see a dog one day! Food is very good and would highly recommend. Cocktails are also amazing and are less expensive if you buy two.
Great food and really friendly staff. Knocking it down by 1* because one of our orders was wrong but everything we got was really tasty. Definitely worth a visit. Dog friendly too which is a positive!
Moved right next door to this place on the 23/12/2022. I have to say I'm rather happy. What a beautiful pub this is. From the ambiance to the quality of the food & drink to the staff. It's a cracking place that I'm so happy to live right next door too. Having this as a local is a blessing. Being dog friendly is great also. The quality of food for what you pay is second to none. Excellent produce and portions. I'll finish by recommending downloading there app as there are so many excellent benefits from doing so. I think I will be popping in daily, if only for a quick drink to unwind.
Went on Sunday for 3 course carvery to celebrate my birthday with several members of my family I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've had. Great service and delicious food. (And the drink was good )
Great drinks selection and good food menu. We went for an Ubu & Coors while browsing the menu, in a nice quiet corner of the pub. Lovely decor and a nice fire to keep warm. We decided on the seabass each, with lemon butter and a side of cauliflower cheese and steamed greens. Very tasty and great value for money! Food arrived within 15 minutes and was delicious. We did have to ask for cutlery at the bar after our food arrived, but not a big deal at all. Will love to visit again when in the area.
