Lovely little hidden gem. Great kids menu and so welcoming. The bistro items and groceries were also reasonable prices. Would recommend for a nice coffee and lunch.

I'm more of a daytime visitor to the larder, and I've heard its gaining a great reputation for their evening fine-dining bistro. To date during my daytime visits I've sampled their coffee, hot sandwiches, and off-the-shelf items and I can honestly say it's all been first rate, and the highest quality. Delicious food, warm friendly service that really feels like a community, and high quality items. I've eaten here many times, enjoyed drinks and bought gifts for friends - and have nothing but positives to share. A real cornerstone of the community and I must pop by on an evening to enjoy more the chef's talents at their bistro. 5*

I used them to cater for my daughter's baby shower and they were excellent. The communication was easy and they always responded quickly. They delivered the food to the venue on time and in boxes that were fine to use on the table for guests to help themselves from. The food was delicious and a very generous quantity was provided. We had plenty to eat the following day. The guests all enjoyed it and I would highly recommend them.

Love having this place on my doorstep. Great food choices, which are always made with high quality ingredients. Also good coffee and beverage selection. Can eat/drink in or takeaway. Definitely recommended.

We ordered from the catering menu for our son turning 1, and we were absolutely thrilled. There was plenty of food, it was all very tasty, and the boxes it arrived in were sturdy enough to be reused for people to take home leftovers. We would order from here again. We regularly get sandwiches and iced coffees from here too, and they're always delicious.

Had the catering for an event and everyone commented on how good the food was. Vicky and the team were also brilliant at communicating ahead of the event and working to my brief.

Lovely food ; great atmosphere. During lockdown, The Larder kept many people going with fruit & veg, pasta & tinned goods, as well as meals to take away, which change every week, with curries and Sunday lunches available to collect on Saturdays. Their lattes are good too. I was there this afternoon with a friend (11 March 2023 )..still great, still busy..great atmosphere & staff....child- friendly & dog- friendly..Accessible

The larder seems to be more promising more than it delivers.. always a long wait for fairly bland sandwiches and the prices for the savoury bites are extortionate. They probably do well as there’s not much more on offer in the locality. Friendly staff and good ethos but it’s a confused cafe/deli with too much going on . I think they have a bit of an inflated sense of how good the food really is ..

The guys In here are always friendly and do a lovely hot chocolate. Yesterday I went in and the dark haired lady didn't even notice me waiting to be served when I asked if she is serving she said sorry I didn't see you but lady you were looking at me so maybe I am invisible because you seem to notice other people who came in. I will not be returning anymore.

This is just the most amazing coffee shop! The staff are always wonderful, kind and smiley. Always very patient. The coffee never misses, it's brilliant. So many options on the menu. I would recommend this place to anybody and often bring my friends! :)
