Great local pub with live music. No airs n graces. Friendly folk and reasonable mainstream beer /cider choice. Had a great night. Super cheap beer and spirits...

One of those rare, little places that actually have a soul whilst still having pints for under £5! Very good service with friendly staff. Had a nice conversation with one of the bartenders called Travis, he was quick to serve and gave me a flyer for an event going on. Travis was also very helpful as we were enquiring about having a wake here. Currently having a pint here with Steve on shift, very friendly too. Thank you primrose!! :D

The place is a bit out of the way and run down but it's got a good atmosphere when artists are playing on stage. The drinks are reasonably priced.

The band my sons in played a gig at The Primrose a couple of weeks back, it’s a an old school pub with quirky music related furniture. The drinks were good and reasonably priced and the live music was fantastic. We had a great night and I’d definitely go back again to see more bands.
