The reason for my low rating is because a member of staff made me feel uncomfortable. Her name was Georgina. In my opinion if you work in a place serving costumers you should smile . Not only did Georgina not smile she gave me dirty looks and made me feel uncomfortable. I was there with my service dog and a friend.
A regularly drop in here, a great little spot for coffee and a bite. Wonderful, consistent flat white.
Every now and then I get the temptation to call at one of these places and every now and then I feel ripped off... When will I learn. I plumpt for the syrup add in this time and found that the vast majority of it was in mixed and at the bottom of the drink.. The ending was horrible, sweet, overpowering and just yuck. Needless to say that we were miles away from the place by that time... Note to self would be appropriate but, will I listen??
The actually cafe itself is warm and welcoming. I have been in a few times, sometimes I go in and the staff are on it and they're lovely, drinks come out tasty and quickly even when at times it's busy. Other times I've gone in and it's a different group of staff and drinks are slow and not as good quality, they often take longer to take orders and not as on it as usual. I understand when things are busy it can get stressful, I have also worked in food services. There have been a few times that I've ordered an iced latte, plain and simple and it's been given to me with a lot of coffee grains in the bottom and if you've ever used a coffee machine they you'll know the taste of reused coffee granules. The coffee tastes off and watery on multiple occasions I've had so many coffe granules that they've gotten stuck on my teeth. Some of the staff are lovely, do their job effectively and always ask how I'm doing, other staff don't do that even if I'm the only person in the cafe at that time. There are other Costas within a 20 minute drive of this one are much better than this one and don't taste like second hand coffee granules
Disappointed is an understatement. I would rate lower than one star if possible. The cafe wasn't busy, the tables not clear and dirty pots on the tables. My daughter had a cheese and ham toastie. The ham was hard and rubbery and totally inedible. We complained. The staff were totally unbothered and rude. The manager was reluctant to speak with us and refused to give a refund. We will not be back.

Costa can't toast bread on both sides. And it's hard to find a hand crafted cappuccino. We've been to loads of them, and it's always the same. I've complained often, but it still remains the same. Chris.
A very good Costa coffee house. Nice atmosphere and good location. The staff are friendly and helpful. Ample parking too.
You always know what you're going to get at Costa, helpful staff, pleasant seating and surrounds, and nice coffee. Tried the bacon roll and coffee special, a great deal. This is just outside the village, nice to pop in on the way back from the supermarket. Extra bonus, I used the app and got a free coffee.
Coffee was very good. Service was a bit indifferent. I wish they had time/ commitment to clear tables. Atmosphere was ok.
