room was great and spacious (with the window). bathrooms were clean. the only problem we had was at the hotel we asked one of the hotel welcome staff who was standing idly (not busy at all) to take a photo of us and he refused in a very dry and rude manner, thankfully that was our last day there.

Absolutely avoid. This hotel is shocking, yes it is fair priced but I feel like I would have enjoyed the night in HMP instead, felt very similar. No window (unless you pay extra), room is red hot, no overhead lights, 3 big dated lamps with old plug sockets so no plugs close to bed to charge devices, room is very very dated, shower was sprouting water from the pipe, toilet takes 5 minutes to flush, bed and pillows are rock hard, walls are paper thin so I had the lovely joy of hearing next door have a wee. If I wasn’t so tired I would have rather of slept outside, wouldn’t have felt like hell from the heat. We even checked out nearly 2 hours early because we just couldn’t stay there any longer.

⭐⭐ Hotel Review The room was spacious and clean, but it could really use some upgrades. There were no ceiling lights, which made the room quite dark. Also, the electric sockets near the bed had the old round-pin type, which I didn’t realize still existed — so charging devices there was tricky. The television only had audio at first, but a staff member quickly came to fix it, which I appreciated. The bathroom was clean, and the room stayed nice and warm, so no complaints there. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mike, who went out of his way to assist. However, the telephone in the room didn’t have any information or contact numbers, which made it less useful. The hotel’s website shows a gym and swimming pool, but there were none to be found in reality. There is a bar onsite, but it was only open on weekends, and no breakfast is served onsite — you have to walk about five minutes down the road for that. Overall, it was a good price, but as they say, you get what you pay for. 30/10/2025

The hotel and service was terrible. I went with 2 friends and had to upgrade the room because the first room was too hot and did not have any windows. Then when we got back at night there were two bouncers who refused entry to one of my friends. And they said we had to stay out in the cold. It was literally 3° that night. When my friend went in to discuss with the manager we had to pay for another room which was over 70 pounds. Please do not book this hotel. The bouncers were extremely rude and so were the receptionists and even the manager. The rooms aren’t even that great even for the cheap price. Spend your money elsewhere.

Although it's not going to win any prizes for being modern or luxury, I'd stay again. Rooms are being upgraded by the looks of it. Rooms are good, beds comfy but spring mattresses so some are better than others (quilts on the singles are a little on the small side!), water pressure in the shower is good and it's been clean every time I've stayed here. Staff are lovely and breakfast buffet is hot and tasty. Sleeping with windows open is a challenge as you're right off Piccadilly Gardens and you'll hear all sorts of interesting things. Five Guys and McDonald's literally around the corner and tram a three minute walk. All in all, for what you pay it's pretty good.

Friendly staff great location beds were comfortable but one big complaint I would have is the sheer heat in the room on the last 2 nights. The heater switched on automatically and the room was unbearably warm with no way to switch the heater off. The solution we were provided with was a fan to cool us down but this only provided us with minimal relief. I was overheating to the point where I was splashing cold water on myself in the bathroom in an attempt to cool down. Naturally this level of heat caused us great discomfort when trying to sleep.

  1. Behold Me Aesthetics Leeds ★★★☆☆

It's a bit shabby. Poorly decorated and quite Old fashioned. For somewhere to crash it's totally fine, right on thr doorstep of most of the decent shops. The bathroom was a bit smelly, maybe some drainage issues I don't know but it wasn't pleasant. The room was simple and tidy. There were about 5 lamps which I found a bit unnecessary. Bed was comfy. Coffee was alright. All in all it wasn't anything special, it was fit for purpose but I wouldn't stay again.

Was a cheap stay. Paid £33 for a decent sized room and the staff were nice - but Jesus was it boiling!! I had a room without a window. I slept without covers on and still woke up at 5am covered in sweat. It’s autumn! Just turn the heating down a bit. Would save the hotel money too. So many reviews saying the same thing.
