“The Royal is an hidden gem the food is outstanding all home cooked, and excellent value for money. The menu caters for all, the Sunday lunches are amazing all freshly prepared and if you don’t have room for your dessert you can take it home. The homemade pies a choice of Cheese or Meat are freshly made by Alison are a worth a try they are delicious. It is well worth a visit and the prices are extremely reasonable. The staff go above and beyond they are so friendly especially Alison & Nicola.”

“Needed an emergency accommodation due to Dv and I was booked in to the hotel at the last minute, At first I was afraid when I was told it is an hotel due to my terrible experience some years back and to my surprise it was the best I have ever gotten. No discrimination plus I needed Ramadan timetable calendar. Because where I was coming form,the time is different plus google keeps giving different time. I was afraid to asked the staff but to my surprise when I asked he told me the time and also gave me a picture…. Overall it is the best place ever especially if you have children the room is so big and accommodating I just wish their is a cooker but even without that the hotel is the best and cleanliness hotel I have ever seen and best location.”

“Really enjoyed my stay – the room was nicely furnished, spotlessly clean, and offered everything I needed for a comfortable night. It felt welcoming and well cared for, and I had an undisturbed, peaceful sleep. Great value for money too. The food was another highlight. I ordered the gammon steak, which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious – generous portion, nicely presented, and full of flavour. “Good location. Staff are friendly. Discount parking for the multi story car park-£11 for 24 hours. Room is clean and comfortable. Free of charge for late check out which is superb so I could get a quick shower after ran the Manchester half! Dog friendly hotel. Love it! My dog enjoyed the view.”

“YHA Manchester is an example of how a good hostel doesn't have to cost a lot. Large, bright and airy room for four people. The beds were solid, the only thing missing was curtains on the bunk beds for more privacy, but that's a minor detail. The bathroom was a good size, clean and looked new. The common areas are large and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location near a train and tram station is great for a city the size of Manchester. The hostel has a view of part of the river canal, and having breakfast with this view was a bonus. I would definitely stay at this hostel again”

“A decent Marriott Hotel, which has had good investment over the years. Well presented with nice external / outsourced dining of a good standard. Well worth a stop if using the airport to go on Holiday. Good for when you need to entertain at a restaurant. “Everything was as I expected for the style and location of an affordable hotel within a reasonable distance to the airport. Nothing fancy, but well maintained and had everything we'd needed. The front desk staff was very helpful and offered suggestions for where my husband could watch a "very important football game" (isn't every game important. lol) as well as restaurant options if we were wanting to eat outside of the hotel. We would definetly stay here again.”

“If your thinking about staying then I recommend to book book book.. my only fault is that I had to share a bathroom with others, but also for saying it is a busy bar on canal street it was quiet. “I had a great stay at this hotel before my flight from Manchester Airport. It was super convenient, and the room was clean and comfortable. What really made the experience, though, was the excellent service. Faizan, in particular, was fantastic. He handed me my key and was so friendly and approachable, which I really appreciated. As a nervous flyer, his ability to communicate and just talk about things really helped take my mind off my worries and made me feel a lot better about the flight ahead. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near the airport.”

“Brilliant for stopping over if your at the airport early in the morning as they offer a short shuttle ride to your terminal at no extra charge. Never had breakfast there because of early flights. Rooms are a good size and the bed we stayed in was mega comfy.”

“10/10 - The Stay Inn Manchester is everything you want from a budget hotel, but much, much more. Right on the doorstep of the City Centre, and very affordable. Where this ‘Budget’ Hotel differs from others in the field, is that this one is supremely well run, with an array of truly fantastic staff, for who, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for two weeks during a difficult house move, and The Stay Inn Manchester bent over backwards to accommodate us, and help us during this very busy time. Friendly - Clean - Fantastic. “Very good hostel with friendly and helpful staff. The place was clean and comfortable overall. Breakfast was included, which was a big plus – no need to rush anywhere in the morning. I stayed in a 4-bed room, and all the necessary facilities were inside. There is a small locker next to the bed, but you need to have your own padlock. The staff were always responsive and welcoming. There is also a fridge where you can store your own food. The only downside was that the mattresses were not very comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay!”

“The first plus is the service. Everyone we encountered was super helpful, polite and generous with their time!! The room we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable! We slept very well! The neighborhood is very nice. Avenues lined with mature trees and attractive houses. 15 minutes to airport without extra traffic. 7 minutes by car, into adorable town with great and varied restaurant options! Oh, and affordable for this retired couple.”

“well, I saw many bad reviews, but in fact it was much more better than people say. I stayed there for one night only, just to have some rest after the concert. so from my experience I can highlight: - service: the owner contacted me to solve one problem with the booked room before my check-in, then met me downstairs and lead to my room. he was quite friendly and polite. when I asked if they have any hair conditioner (shampoo and shower gel were present in bathroom), he tried his best to manage one for me. after all I didn't feel lost and ignored. - rooms: first of all it didn't smell like weeds, sex, alcohol and other things people have mentioned in other reviews. room 8, a small one, but still enough to stay for a night. fresh bedsheets without stains, tv, air conditioning, hair dryer, clean towels in sufficient amount, clean bathroom with hot and cold tap water. I work myself in housekeeping at the hotel, so I really mean it: it was absolutely acceptable. there was one thing to solve, but once I've mentioned it, the owner offered to solve this problem immediately. so honestly, I really enjoyed my staying over there. I definitely got an opportunity to take a shower, make some tea/coffee and just rest at night after the gig. - location: well yeah, it's quite far away from the city centre, but it's obvious for this price! if you want to live right next to Victoria station, you should be able to afford it. this hotel was absolutely nice for its price and using some public transport wasn't a big problem for me, just took some time. in general I find the hotel really nice for its price. maybe I was just lucky compared to other reviewers, I don't know :)”
