I've been living here for the past 6 month and it has been one of the best places I've lived in Manchester. My one bedroom flat has been well maintained and furnishing was replaced prior to me moving in. The Management team and other workers inclufing cleaning staff/maintenance workers are approachable and friendly. I love the location. Quick access to tram or town is a walking distance.

I have lived here for 4 & a half years & found the experience very positive. The apartment is quite spacious & the balcony is a good size. In my time here the staff have always been friendly, efficient & willing to help. My only slight niggle is the apartment was fairly grubby & tired when I moved in & it's not had anything done to it since, apart from 2 batteries.

Lived here for 4 years now. It’s the most amazing place to live. I have the most amazing life here. Rent Is amazingly priced and everything is handled when it needs to be. Andy who is the resident service manager is actually a godsend, I had a couple of issues with my apartment but Andy solved it asap! Will continue living here until I can buy my own home!

I would say pomona wharf is quite an excellent place to live, the apartment is very spacious and is well equipped with a modern kitchen and furniture especially the sofa and the bed which are very comfortable. You do get this premium feeling from the concierge to the flat. Maintenance requests are dealt with swiftly thanks to a good app and a good team specifically Andy and Alex who have been very easy to work with. All in all a great place to call home.

I’ve absolutely loved every moment living here! If I could give 10 stars, I would. The management team is incredibly efficient and responsive. Their communication is top-notch, they address issues promptly and also keep you informed every step of the way and follow up to ensure everything was done perfectly. The flats are spacious compared to others I’ve seen in the neighbourhood, and the views from my apartment are absolutely stunning. The location is in very close proximity to the city centre and about 5 minutes to the tram, with buses even closer. It’s so convenient! I also love that the building is exceptionally well-managed, it’s always clean and I like that the neighbours are friendly and considerate which makes living here even better. Security is excellent, giving me complete peace of mind and the management team goes the extra mile to host fantastic events during festive periods, like summer and winter parties, complete with free food and drinks. It’s such a thoughtful way to build a sense of community. A special shoutout to Georgia from the management team, she’s always approachable and goes above and beyond to help. I truly can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Management are terrible. Happy to chase you for money but do nothing to stop package thefts. I have also been waiting for my renewed lease for about 3 months. In addition they have been emailing the wrong person regarding the lease even though both myself and the other random person from Turkey have told them he isn't my flatmate. Still management don't car and continuously email them. Actually terrible experience in general

Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom. Staff working here is great and always there when you need them. We had a great time at Pomona Wharf. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The Tram Station is in 5 mins walking distance and the apartment is very quiet. Would absolutely recommend to anyone has interests to stay here!

Lived here for 16 months and it was great. It was recommended to me from a family member of mine and her friend who also loved it. Staff always happy to help and are very welcoming. The services Pomona Wharf offers truly helps towards you creating a comfortable home. The flats are modern and spacious and offer a bathroom for each person which was exactly what we were looking for. Close to city centre of Manchester but also not right in the middle of it all so you can experience the best of both. We had the view of the canals and media city in the distance and it was fabulous! We also had the luxury of stunning sunsets on our side. I will miss it so much. Brilliant place!

I've lived at Pomona Wharf for over two years and only recently left. The flats are well maintained and spacious. The communal areas are well maintained. The flats are set in a quiet area alongside the canal only a short walk to the city centre. I can't thank Tom & the team enough. They're always available if there are any issues and someone is on site every week day. Would highly recommend!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Numerous issues over 12 months: CAR PARKING Other tenants were given visitor car parking passes before and after we moved in. However, when we questioned this, we were informed we would not be provided with a car parking pass and family members would have to pay for a local car park which was a 20-minute walk away. I hold a disabled badge and it took 3 months for the team to approve me disabled parking (even though there were 6 free disabled spaces). The reason being, they had oversubscribed their car parks, therefore relied on disabled bays as over spill. We have had numerous tickets and fines on our cars by the car parking company despite paying £75 per month each for a car parking space. We asked if these could be revoked and were told we would have to take this up with the company ourselves. Despite me paying and arguing for 3 months for a disabled space, I actually got fined for forgetting to display my disabled badge - once. The car park ruined my boyfriend’s brand-new car. The company were already aware of this and paid for my boyfriend’s car to be repainted after hours of dispute. They have still failed to inform other tenants of that their cars may be damaged. MAJOR LEAKS/DAMP When viewing the flat we asked after reading the reviews whether there had been any leaks. We were told no. After we moved in, we were warned by many tenants that this was not true and there had been numerous leaks. Unfortunately, there were multiple leaks during our time at Pomona Wharf. Please see the pictures as evidence. We also reported damp that had appeared on our bedroom wall numerous times (please see picture). They told us this would be re-painted, however this never happened. On more than one occasion we had to find alternative accommodation due to leaks and water supply being cut. The water supply is regularly turned off without sufficient notice and they fail to provide accurate times in when it will return – please note this may be days. INTERNET The internet has been appalling. They changed provider recently and it still is not great. Any problems, you have to take this up with the internet provider yourself. CONCIERGE This is pretty much non-existent. Sent my phone off for repair and was waiting over 3 weeks for this to be returned. After numerous phone calls with my phone provider they told me someone called 'Richard' (onsite maintenance) had signed for this 2 weeks prior. After asking Tom (onsite rep), he informed me that this had been sat in his office for over a week, but he had 'forgot' to mention it to me. Your parcels are often left on a sofa in the main reception (which members of the public very often walk through to take short cuts). I have had expensive parcels go missing which the company take no responsibility for. LIFTS There barely goes a week without a lift breaking. This in my case was quite difficult after having neurosurgery and spinal surgery. DATA LEAK There was an instance where all tenants email addresses were shared on an email to all other residents. DEPOSIT Still awaiting our deposit back. After finishing our tenancy we were told we were in arrears of £16 - which we do not agree to. However, in order to get our deposit back (just short of £1,000) we bit the bullet to cut ties. MANAGEMENT We were told that it would be in our best interest, the landlords and managements if we did not choose either Pomona Wharf or the Cargo Building as a home in future. The management are shocking, rude and arrogant. When paying over £12,000 a year for a property, you expect to at least be able to raise concerns and for them to be actioned appropriately. However, they will simply be ignored or replied to with a blanket email. None of our issues were solved with a satisfactory response/solution and we simply had to ignore/bare it for the duration of 12 months. I really wish we had taken the reviews seriously when looking to rent here. Hopefully, my review can be a warning to potential clients. I urge you to talk to other current residents before signing the dotted line.
