Responded to all of my enquires promptly and was eager to go beyond my expectations by providing detailed explanations. Happy with my apartment but the customer service was certainly a deciding factor as I needed to find something quickly.

Frustrating!! Poor experience with MyApartments. After leaving the flat in a clean and well-maintained condition, they attempted to charge for issues that were clearly pre-existing or normal wear and tear. Having a dispute is one thing, but their communication is painfully slow and inexcusable — taking around two weeks per reply and never returning phone calls — while continuing to hold our entire deposit for over six weeks after moving out without justification. They initially claimed the bed required a “deep clean,” but when challenged, began deflecting to unrelated points without ever addressing that charge again. What makes this worse is that the apartment was not properly cleaned when handed over. There was oven grease leaking into the drawer below and household waste left in the kitchen bin, which was already starting to smell. I had to clean all of this myself before moving in, and despite noting these issues at check-in, the agency didn’t even have the courtesy to apologise. Most concerningly, they do not provide check-in photographs to new tenants, even though they clearly take them during previous tenants’ checkouts. This creates a one-sided situation where tenants cannot effectively challenge unfair deductions later. If you wish to play Russian roulette with your deposit, this is the agency for you. Otherwise, insist on receiving full photographic check-in evidence before signing anything — it’s the only way to protect yourself from arbitrary and unjustified charges. Tenants deserve far better transparency, communication, and professionalism. Future renters — keep everything in writing.

My son moved into accommodation on Saturday, awful experience, walls marked, towel rail broken, shower tray/glass door not fitted and toilet dirty. Offered £50 compensation, later increased to £75 but apartment needs complete facelift. Their website paints a different picture of accommodation, unclean, tired and shabby!

I have rented out a studio apartment in Manchester and the experience has been okay so far. I receive timely response from the maintenance team. When trying to contact initially, there was no response from the team with regards to viewing the apartment (After the payment). After trying to contact multiple folks from overseas just to get in touch, they said they were on leave and the viewing is not possible. Nevertheless, I liked the property, so i proceeded with it. There should be a better customer service as people are paying huge amounts to stay at your property. However, there have not been a lot of issues.
