Rainbow only ever visited their clinic in the UK, so it was comforting that he could peacefully fall asleep in a familiar place. Deciding to say goodbye to Rainbow was the hardest choice I’ve ever made, but the team made me feel so supported and at peace. I left Rainbow with the clinic for two days before his cremation. When I returned to pick him up, he looked so serene, like he was sleeping sweetly. Seeing him like that brought calm to my heart, and I could finally let go. I wholeheartedly recommend Victoria Park Vet to anyone. They’ve also cared for my four dogs with the same dedication, and I trust them to keep my dogs healthy and happy for years to come. Dr. Archie and his team don’t just care for pets—they care for the people who love them.”

“Friendly staff. Easy to make appointments through email, messaging or phone call. I always feel welcome and feel like the advice I am given is well considered. I am generally seen on time and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes once I arrive. I'm not a fan of people opening my mouth and shoving in small vacuums and metal contraptions in there, however, I'd rather have it done here than anywhere else I've ever been to.”

“We absolutely adore Siân's SEN Holiday Forest School Sessions. We joined in the summer of 2023 and quickly fell in love with the holiday sessions. It can be quite challenging when our usual group activities come to a halt, as our entire family thrives on structure and routine. Our daughter has an immense passion for the outdoors and revels in any messy or sensory play. If it were up to her, she'd make the great outdoors her permanent home! Right from day one, Sian extended a warm welcome and dedicated time to truly understand how our daughter prefers to engage. She has patiently built a strong connection with our daughter at her own pace. The activities provided are nothing short of amazing, especially for our daughter, who immerses herself fully in sensory experiences (as you can see in the photos!). Furthermore, the lunch and snacks offered here are fantastic. Our daughter can be quite particular about her safe and unsafe foods, but every visit here has her enjoying the delicious lunch provided. We sincerely appreciate the tremendous effort you put into creating safe and nurturing environments for children with special educational needs. ❤️”

“We come up from the south for a few days, we took our cocker spaniel puppy Lola who was 6 months old at the time. She’s never been in a day care before and the way she came out was unbelievable she didn’t wanna go home she loved it so much there! We saw photos on Facebook on how the day was going and she looked like she was having such an amazing time. When we took her back for the 2nd day she couldn’t be more excited to go! She rushed through the gate and didn’t look back! I highly Recommend dogs and divas when we come back to Manchester she will definitely be coming back it’s such a shame you’re not in the south! “I cannot recommend Heaton Park View enough. After having a 7 year gap between the last children, I was extremely nervous to start sending my then 8 month old to nursery after not having the greatest experiences previously, but how different it has been this time around! From the start the staff at HP (especially Tiny Lambs) were super friendly, informative and settled baby girl into the setting really well and quickly. She never really ‘cried’ going in and though we still had to build up that confidence - the separation anxiety was never as bad as I remember. Now, after being there for 6 months she knocks on the door to get in the room in the morning, comes home singing lots of wonderful songs with actions - and even cries when we have to take her home from nursery! It’s so lovely to see and drop your child off knowing they enjoy the environment they are in - and that’s down to all the wonderful staff. Honestly if you are an anxious parent, this nursery is the one for you. They always go above and beyond. From having cute countdown themed days over Christmas to planning fabulous activities daily for the children to enjoy. I even had a little picture and a message on my first day back from maternity leave and it’s just little thoughtful, amazing communication like this that sets this setting apart from the rest by miles!”

“Was given a voucher for here as a gift. I had a full body, deep tissue massage with Carmen. Carmen used various techniques to relieve my tension and aches. I like a firm massage and Carmen certainly did that. She did check the pressure was O.K. I have a bad lower back and Carmen did lots to help relieve this. My shoulders were also very tense and Carmen worked her magic. It definitely was a deep tissue massage. I felt great. Afterwards Carmen talked to me about my body and the parts she worked on. Carmen was very professional, put me at ease and explained some of the techniques she had used. Highly recommend and I will be back. Thank you.”

“Mayfield Park is a unique little gem in Manchester!! It’s not very big, but it offers lovely seating areas and is great for a relaxing walk. Especially beautiful around sunset when the lighting in the park comes on and adds a cozy vibe. There are quite a lot of security cameras around, which might bother some. Other than that it’s Manchester’s most beautiful park!!!”

“Really pleased with the treatment my cat Ares received yesterday. He needed his booster and flea/worming and the vet we saw (I didn't catch her name unfortunately) was extremely kind and gentle with him. She was patient with me too and checked him over when I mentioned a couple of other things I was concerned with. Cost of treatment seems reasonable to previous vets we've visited. The lady on reception was really friendly too. Parking round the rear of the building. Lastly, they have a candle in the reception which is lit if an owner is having having an appointment to have their pet put to sleep, and request soft voices and respect if this is the case. I've never seen this before in vets and thought it was a lovely idea.”

“We had a great time here, we stayed in Cabin 1 and it was so peaceful. We had our 7 month old to think about and this worked well as we could have dinner and relax in the evening and she could sleep in the cot in the bedroom and we wouldn't disturb here like we would in a hotel in one room. Staff were lovely and friendly and the site was clean. Hot tub was great to chill in the sunshine. Lovely walks around Dovestone Reservoir just a stones throw away. Have already recommended to family and would absolutely recommend again particularly for young families who like lots of countryside walks and exploring the local area.”

“Spent an afternoon with a good friend here. The weather was gorgeous which just added to a marvellous day all round. We started with a breakfast in the stable cafe, and a cake to take away. The house itself is breathtaking. The solar is probably up there with the best rooms I've ever visited in a historic house setting. The guide outside the room was delightfully chatty, friendly and informative. Made us feel so welcome. It was great to see some of the conservation set up that they have on the go. We finished with a brisk walk around the grounds to finish the day.”

“It's a fantastic park with something for everyone! The area is huge and well-maintained. There's a lovely playground for children, picnic areas with barbecue facilities for families, and clean toilets that are free to use. Parking is reasonably priced—£1.50 for 2 hours and £2.50 for a longer stay. One of the highlights is the large lake with beautiful views, perfect for a relaxing walk or just enjoying nature. Highly recommended for a day out with family or friends”

“Plenty of parking at a reasonable cost. Great fun for adults, teenagers, children and toddlers! Scenic views, a small farm with helpful animals handlers who are happy to answer questions, well-kept grounds, boat rides, decent-sized play areas for children of all ages, a cafe, a resident ice cream van and charcoal pizza options. A good place to enjoy the great outdoors - especially on a sunny day!”
