These Onaie slippers were not only entirely synthetic and unattractive, they were also uncomfortable to the point of being unwearable. I've been had!
The customer service has been fast to respond, so that bit is good. I think my review is going to reflect some of the others regarding quality. These feel and smell like synthetic materials - I don't think these are genuine sheepskin or leather as advertised. As someone else mentioned, the sole is indeed cardboard (they squeak and make weird noises when you walk and the shape goes after about an hour of wear). They're not going to last long at all. If you still are considering, do buy a size down, the sizes run large too. For me, they're disappointing. I really thought I was buying a different standard of product. I won't be buying anymore. I would rather pay more for genuine leathers and decent craftsmanship. I hate buying tatty products that end up in landfill in no time, and these feel like they go that way.
The goods received were not as advertised- no sheepskin, cardboard soles, and cheap synthetic fur.........I would strongly advise against using this company.Am still awaiting refund.
I ordered a pair of sheepskin slipper boots from Onaie and they were so gorgeous and warm that I ordered another pair that very same day as a Christmas present. Fantastic slippers, wonderful service and communication would definitely recommend and will definitely be using them in the future.
They arrived with authentic dodgy stitching (thread not going through the holes) which looked messy but as they were hand made and I got them in the sale I decided not to send them back. A week later (so they are a week old) and I have only worn them a handful of times, my right slipper where the stitching was dodgy in the first place had completely come away,and the material has ripped and at the back where the heel is was wearing through and there is a growing hole-. I have never been so disappointed with an online purchase in my entire life, I had so been looking forward to getting them, yesterday I found myself on the uggs website (you know what you are getting and that they will last) buying myself a new pair of slippers which I hadn’t been expecting to do for a good Year at least...as these were so useless . Due to being 9 months pregnant (I had bought these as a treat to be comfortable around the flat) and under the current circumstances i can’t really take them to a post office (and will Obviously have to pay the postage which is also disappointing ) to return for a refund, so stuck with a pair of defective slippers- I wouldn’t recommend.
