I lived at one of the properties managed by Snugpads for a year. I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The entire renting process from viewing the property to signing the tenancy was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. Communication was always prompt and clear. Any issues that arose during my tenancy were addressed quickly and effectively - whether it was a minor repair or anything else. Our property manager Hamza was very efficient and incredibly helpful at all times. The landlord was always responsive, respectful, helpful and genuinely cared about his tenants. Highly recommend Snugpads.

Lived in a property ran by this company for two years - they were so helpful and attentive the whole way through. The maintenance portal is so easy to use and they attend the property really quickly. Couldn’t have asked for a more attentive company. Would definitely recommend!

We’ve had a great experience in our house this year. Always prompt with any maintenance reports and friendly. Happy to be renting with snugpads again this year :)

I lived in snug pads accommodation from JUL 2024 - JUN 2025 and had such a great experience. They were fast to fix any problems that we had and were helpful to answer any questions. The inspections that took place all went smoothly as well. Hamza was always incredible looking after us and it so kind. Couldn’t recommend enough!

As a prospective student and/or a parent that wants to find their child accommodation, you should not secure accommodation with Snugpads. From start to finish it has been a poor experience. I stayed in a 6person shared house on Bolton Road Salford from November 2022 to June 2023.. 1. Snugpads are terrible communicators. They don't have any information on their website and they often don't even respond to your emails or answer your calls. It took weeks to sort out a simple guarantor for my accommodation, because that process is outsourced to another company called Goodlord Ltd. 2. I suspect there might be dodgy business going on here. Snugpads are not a registered company on companies House UK, and the office they have in Salford isn't even there. Long story short, you won't know who the landlord is and you won't meet anyone in person. Once again you don't pay rent to snugpads, you pay it through Goodlord Ltd. 3. Poorly accommodation. Two of the rooms in the house had damp...THEY NEVER ORGANISED A COMMUNAL CLEANER FOR OUR HOUSE (against HMO regulations)..the kitchen was tiny, awful carpets and the most uncomfortable bedroom. The mattress was about 6inches thick, could barely sleep..Desk made of cardboard and no furnishings..I felt sickly coming home. Definitely not "snug" almost felt like a prison cell.. Check the photos for yourself. Find other accommodation providers unless you're looking for a bad experience. Kauri

Stole £100 from myself and two other flat mates which is absolutely disgusting. They know that they work with students and we don’t have £100 to throw at nothing

Just moved out of my house with snugpads today, overall we had a really positive experience we were rewarded our full deposits back and they did the bank transfer back to my account before I left the property, the maintenance team were always super helpful and usually fixed jobs the very next day, every me ever of staff we interacted with was very helpful and friendly. There were a few issues with our house like damp and we had mice for a week when we came back for Easter. But overall our experience was very positive.

I don't appreciate my review being hidden, saddos. Here's probably the most honest review of Snugpads you'll read. The company is okay at best. Where we had viewed was okay and we'd viewed quite a lot of places. They all seemed safe and good cleanliness apart from the odd one or two places. We eventually found our house of 5 people and sorted it all out. The usual £50 application charge, then £200 deposit. I moved in september. The kitchen was massively outdated and had no blinds so the next door neighbours could look straight in and see anything we were doing. For a while the washing line and garden fence was also broken, meaning anyone could come into our garden. A few weeks passed and we realised we had a rat problem in the kitchen, they offered no help and told us to phone the council which charged a £40 call out without treatment. I ended up spending about that myself on poison and traps, which the company never thanked me for seen as I got rid of their rat problem. We also asked for another toilet as it was advertised a bathroom and extra WC when we moved in. There was a problem with timing when 5 of us were living there. Kindly, they arranged a second whole bathroom to be fitted. However this went weeks over the timescale promised, alarms went off hourly and once they cut through the kitchen roof which leaked everywhere onto our appliances and food. We were told "it hasn't damaged anything and they fixed it so there's no problem" fair enough pal but we didn't want a paddling pool too. It was something written into the contract but made it seem like it was our fault they were taking long because we wanted it. They had been good with repairs though, and were quick at times to respond. They also helped during Covid by stopping our bills as we all went home, so we weren't paying in full. However, the deposit was ridiculous. Charging me £15 for a ball of fluff under my bed to "clean the carpet". £15 to hoover a room is ridiculous anyway. Their charges were ridiculous, I made it known I was unhappy but they stuck. Overall, an okay company.

I've rented a room in a houseshare from SnugPads over the past two years and have never had cause to complain. The landlords and their team have been excellent, professional, and always promptly dealt with maintenance issues. The house itself is cleaned twice a month; and with all bills and utilities included, renting has been a hassle-free experience. This was the first room I took after moving to Manchester as a medical student and I've stayed here since. Whilst I initially had reservations about entering a houseshare for the first time, these were placed immediately at ease after I met them and viewed the property. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.
